Freida Pinto looks stunning as usual on the cover of Red magazine’s June 2017 issue, on newsstands May 3.
Here’s what the 32-year-old actress had to share with the mag:
On being friends with her ex Dev Patel: “At the end of the day he’s a fellow actor and my friend. I’ve seen the hard work he’s put in, and seeing it pay off [by winning the BAFTA] is the most beautiful thing. How could I not feel proud? He was fantastic in that film [Lion].”
On age gaps in relationships: “When you’re in a relationship, you’re in a relationship. You’re in it because you love the person. Things like age and wealth, none of it matters. You make it work, that’s it. People come and go and everyone teaches you something. You need to embrace the good and bad, the ugly and beautiful. I’m not a love guru. I don’t have any tips on how to keep a break-up friendly. Just be open and honest.”
On the current political climate: “I am opinionated about the things I believe in. Sometimes people who don’t like confrontation find it hard to be around me. What’s happening right now isn’t just political, it’s inhumane. It’s divisive. I have friends in the Muslim nations affected by the travel ban. This is not the US I came to. I was accepted after arriving from India and being in one film.”

Sean Paul hits Miami with a little help from Migos in the just released music video for their brand new collaboration, “Body“!
The track is the latest single off the 44-year-old “Rockabye” hit-maker’s upcoming album as part of his brand new multi-album global deal with Island Records.
“This video had to be stylish and sexy,” Sean told The FADER in a statement. “Migos is one of my favorite rap groups, and it was wicked to have them flowing over a dancehall oriented track, so the video had to translate that energy too. Miami Beach was the obvious choice to capture that vibe.”
Just trying to get a boyfriend, you know, just trying real hard,” the 30-year-old singer and actress joked while promoting her new album Places on the TODAY show on Friday morning (April 28) in New York City. “A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.”
“Listen, my whole life I grew up in the Bronx, I’m from New York. Everyone always told me I wasn’t pretty enough, that I needed to get a nose job, you know…,” Lea continued. “I wasn’t pretty enough to be the pretty girl but a little too pretty to play the awkward friend. I just really feel like Hollywood has changed, beauty has changed and I’m embracing always my uniqueness with naked bed pictures.”

After a four month hiatus, OneRepublic are finally back with a brand new song called “No Vacancy,” and you can stream it right here!
In a lengthy Facebook post, frontman Ryan Tedder reveals that the real reason for their four month break has been his battle with anxiety that nearly caused him to quit. In the post, Ryan also expresses his disdain for album promo cycles and the band’s exciting future plans for releasing new music.
“I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, not sleeping, on meds, not happy, anxiety on a crippling level and it was triggered from sheer exhaustion,” Ryan wrote in the statement, adding that he is now looking to release new music with OneRepublic “as often as humanly possible.”
In the post, Ryan also admits that “No Vacancy” was originally intended for Selena Gomez: “So whats ‘No Vacancy‘ and where did it come from? I had a series of sessions with my friends Tor and Mikkel (Stargate) in early January. The 2nd song we wrote was ‘No Vacancy‘. The session didn’t start as a song for OneRepublic, we were trying to write a Gotye style song for Selena actually, but when I sang the chorus it just felt right. The lyric idea started with me thinking about my kids and then I realized it was kinda just relatable to anyone. It had a Police vibe I loved… Tor sped it up and added the plucky guitar chords. A month later we ended up doing a concert in the Caribbean and that’s where I finished the lyrics and vocals and instrumental bits.”
Ja Rule‘s Fyre Festival, a three-day, two weekend event in the Exumas, Bahamas, has been cancelled after attendees, who paid thousands to attend, were met with poor conditions.
Attendees reportedly spent between one thousand and twelve thousand dollars to attend. Living conditions were reportedly tents used in disaster relief efforts. Food consisted of bread and cheese sandwiches. There are also reports of a lack of staffing. You can see photos of the conditions over at TMZ.
“We received a email this morning saying they are ‘arranging’ flights asap for guests,” festival attendee Tico Lorenzo told Billboard. “We didn’t want to wait any longer so we booked our [flight]. There were no pillows and most of people’s bed sheets were wet so nobody got that much sleep.”
“The event organizers assured us that all measures were taken to ensure a safe and successful event but clearly they did not have the capacity to execute an event of this scale,” the Bahamian Ministry of Tourism said. “A team of Ministry of Tourism representatives is on the island to assist with the organization of a safe return of all Fyre Festival visitors. It is our hope that the Fyre Festival visitors would consider returning to the Islands Of The Bahamas in the future to truly experience all of our beauty.”
