Brad & Angelina's Dinner Date

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoyed dinner togehter this past Wednesday with their 5-year-old son Maddox at a restaurant in the hardest hit area of the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. Looks like tiny tot Zahara and baby Shiloh stayed behind for the dinner date...

Brad & Angelina do New Orleans

Brad Pitt announced the winners (New York city architects Andrew Kotchen and Matthew Berman, of the firm Workshop/APD) of his architectural design competition at a news conference in New Orleans earlier on today. Brad worked with Global Green USA in hopes of creating the environmentally friendly housing in a redevelopment project in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, a neighborhood hard hit by Hurricane Katrina.

Brad shared this at the news conference: "I am appalled and embarrassed that residents still do not have the opportunity ... to decide if they want to get back into their neighborhoods and recreate their communities... [But] I'm very, very excited about the result. There are a lot of great ideas that came across the table."

Jon Voight Snubs Angelina

Angelina Jolie's estranged father Jon Voight sent a shout out to his grandkids Saturday, but it seems like absence makes the memory grow weaker -- he royally screwed up one of the names. At the fourth annual BAFTA Tea Party (BAFTA is the Oscars for Brits), Voight was talking with a reporter on the red carpet when he decided to send birthday wishes to Maddox, Angelina's five-year-old child. That went well, but then things took an ugly turn. Voight also sent well-wishes to "Shakira" -- problem is, he was talking about Angelina's 1 1/2-year-old daughter. Shakira is considerably older -- 29. The correct name -- Zahara. Close, but no cigar.

HAHAHAHA. What a terrible grandfather!! How could Jon Voight mistake SHAKIRA for ZAHARA? HAHAHAHA. Not a good way to fall under the good grace's of your daughter... Do yourself a favor and watch the hilarious clip!

There was a Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sighting last night! The Hollywood super couple checked out Julian's art gallery at La Cienega and 3rd Street for the opening of a new photography exhibit. Fellow actor Scott Cann (Ocean's 13) was also in attendance -- it was his birthday! More pictures in the gallery!

New dad Brad Pitt (along with Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Jude Law and Jennifer Lopez) is set to appear at the 31st Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from Sept. 7 to 16 this year.

Angelina & Brad's New Pad

Brad Pitt has reportedly invested an estimated $4 million in the properties, which include a stone house once occupied by Elvira actress Cassandra Peterson, a California craftsman, and a post-and-beam property built in the 1950s. Pitt purchased the first of the three properties in 1994 and has been renovating ever since.

Brad and Angelina's Malibu mansion is yesterday's news! Angelina Jolie was spotted driving around her new home in the Los Feliz neighborhood just this past Monday. A source tells Us Weekly, "Brad's turned the compound into a Neverland-like place. It's meant to be a kids' paradise, where they can just run wild." Looks like George Clooney took a beating yesterday on the Los Angeles set of Ocean's 13... with some eye shadow in the make-up room! Check out the inset picture of O13 co-stars George, 45, Matt Damon, 35, Bernie Mac, 47, and Don Cheadle, 41, laughing up a storm during a film break. In a recent interview at the Edinburgh Film Festival, director Steven Soderbergh confirmed that Ocean's 13 would be the last in the Ocean's series... at least with him involved. The gang's all back! Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Matt Damon were all spotted in Sin City yesterday were location filming started for Ocean's Thirteen. Though their visit will be short, they will be returning briefly next month too. Brad, 42, George, 45, and Matt, 35, filmed (or will be filming) scenes mostly around the Bellagio, where previous Oceans' locations were shot, and at McCarran Airport.
