Justin Bieber makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to make a big announcement on an episode airing Wednesday (May 23).

The 18-year-old singer told the audience and millions of viewers that he is about to embark on a world tour to support his new album Believe!

“So Justin and I talked before the show and he said, I want to announce my tour and I said well, if you’re going to announce your tour. You should at least let everyone here have a chance to go. So thanks to American Express everyone here [in the studio audience] is getting a pair of tickets,” Ellen said.

Justin presented Ellen with a gift during the show – a “Girlfriend” jacket to match his “Boyfriend” jacket.

FYI: Ticket presales start at noon TODAY (May 23) and Thursday (May 24) for AmEx cardholders.

Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Nelly Furtado all hit the stage at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nev.

The evening also included performances by Usher, The Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen, and a tribute to the late Whitney Houston by Jordin Sparks and John Legend.

Icon Award recipient Stevie Wonder also graced the stage with Alicia Keys.

Justin Bieber and Usher arrive at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas.

The 18-year-old entertainer is up for four awards tonight and has already won the award for Social Artist of the Year!

Justin beat out Eminem, Lady GaGa, Rihanna, and Shakira for the award.

During his acceptance speech, the young artist went out of his way to thank his manager, Scooter Braun, Usher, his mom, and of course, his fans!

“Getting ready. See everyone tonight on the Billboard Awards,” Justin tweeted.

On fame: “I mean, I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business. That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.”

On alcohol: “For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before … but I never get out of control.”

Vocal producer Kuk Harrell on Justin’s musical identity: “He knows his brand. If he hears something, he’ll go, ‘I think that’s me …’ The brand steers the ship.”

Along with Justin and Natalie, Justin Bieber, a shirtless Jon Hamm, host Will Ferrell, musical guest Usher, and singer Michael Bolton made appearances!

Justin Bieber and his protege Carly Rae Jepsen arrive at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango held at The Home Depot Center on Saturday (May 12) in Carson, Calif.

The 18-year-old singer attended the concert to introduce the “Call Me Maybe” hit maker to the stage for her performance.

“WANGO TANGO tomorrow to introduce @carlyraejepsen . @ryanseacrest i keep my word,” Justin tweeted the day before.

“@carlyraejepsen @TavishCrowe great seeing u guys!! #wangotango – glad i didnt get killed on that entrance. proud of u,” he wrote after the show.
