Here’s the film’s official synopsis: Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.

Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

Stanley Tucci is set to tie the knot, according to Us Weekly!

The 50-year-old actor is engaged to Felicity Blunt, Emily Blunt‘s sister. Emily and Stanley starred together in the hit film The Devil Wears Prada.

“Emily loved Stanley on the set of Devil, and just thought they would hit it off, so she set them up,” a source said to Us.

Stanley‘s first wife sadly passed away from cancer in 2009. “It hasn’t been easy for him getting into a new relationship, but Felicity is a lovely person and very warm and comforting,” the source added.

Demi Moore wows in red at the premiere of her film Margin Call on Monday (October 17) at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City.

The 48-year-old actress was joined for the premiere by her co-star Zachary Quinto, who wore head-to-toe Reiss.

Demi wore a Zac Posen dress and Brian Atwood shoes. She accessorized with Forevermark earrings and a Neil Lane bracelet and ring.

Stanley Tucci has nabbed a role in The Hunger Games, the much anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ smash hit novel.

The 50-year-old Devil Wears Prada actor will play Caesar Flickerman, an utterly familiar charafter to all the citizens of Panem as the host of the Hunger Games. Known for his outrageous appearance and buoyant personality, his upbeat interviews of the 24 tributes – a boy and a girl from each of the country’s 12 districts – are presented on every television in the nation. He is famous for turning any conversation around to the positive and finding humor in even the most dire circumstances.

Stanley joins Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane, and Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket.

Penn Badgley shares a laugh with his Easy A co-stars Patricia Clarkson and Stanley Tucci at the Cairo Time event on Wednesday (December 15) at NYC’s Soho Grand Hotel.

The 24-year-old actor and Stanley came out to support Patricia‘s romantic drama Cairo Time.

Synopsis: Juliette (Clarkson) finds herself caught in a whirlwind romance with her husband’s friend Tareq (Alexander Siddig), a retired cop. As Tareq escorts Juliette around the city, they find themselves in the middle of a brief affair that catches them both unawares.

FYI: the film’s soundtrack hits shelves on November 16, just before the film comes out on November 24!
