HBO Max has announced that the dating reality series 12 Dates of Christmas, which was created by the team behind Love Is Blind, will be coming back for a second season!

All eight episodes of the show’s first season, plus the reunion special, are now available on the streaming service.

“12 Dates is the escapist holiday treat we all need right now,” said Jennifer O’Connell, HBO Max executive vice president of non-fiction and live-action family. “In season one, we wanted to shake up the snow globe to combine everything we love about holiday romcoms with a clever dating show format and a wink at our audience. We look forward to doing more of the same in season two, with a continued emphasis on casting to represent diversity of experience!”

12 Dates of Christmas follows single “leads” as they meet potential love interests and go on the titular 12 dates in the hopes of finding that special someone to bring home for the holidays. Season one was filmed at a castle in Austria and followed hopeless romantics Faith, Chad and Garrett as they searched for love in a magical winter wonderland.

The show has received tons of praise for the diverse casting that is featured on the show, which will continue in season two.

If you loved the new HBO Max reality series 12 Dates of Christmas, it’s not over just yet!

All eight episodes of the new show, from the creators of Netflix’s smash hit Love Is Blind, are streaming now on HBO Max. There’s one more episode that will be available next week – a reunion!

The show was filmed back in February and March of 2020, right before the pandemic started. Two couples stayed together by the end of the season and one of them even got engaged. Are they still together? We’ll have to find out during the reunion.

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Shangela is hosting the reunion, which premieres on Thursday, December 17 on HBO Max.

The streamer said in a statement that the “reunion special is a chance for Chad, Faith, Garrett and their love interests to unwrap everything that’s gone down since last Christmas – from settling scores and revealing juicy behind-the-scenes stories to unmasking secret hookups and answering whether our couples stayed together…or said goodbye.”

“There’s definitely a few unexpected surprises…there is definitely a surprise to one of the leads,” showrunner Sam Dean told E! News.

We caught up with Faith Hernandez, the leading lady on the holiday-themed dating series, to learn some fun things about her that fans likely don’t know.

Faith, 25, is from Seattle, but she currently lives in Los Angeles and works as a stylist. She has only been in one serious relationship and she’s been single for the last five years. Check out the 10 Fun Facts she shared with us below:

Garrett Marcantel, who is the gay leading man, took to his Instagram page on Sunday night (November 29) to answer a bunch of juicy questions from fans.

Some of the things that Garrett revealed included when the show was filmed, how he didn’t know he would be the lead until he arrived at the castle, the one regret he has from filming, and if he ever hooked up with Jose before the show (he’s the guy he knew before filming!).

The first three episodes of 12 Dates of Christmas are now streaming on HBO Max. The next three episodes premiere on December 3 and the final two episodes will debut on December 10.
