True Blood hunk Ryan Kwanten (in DKNY) hits the red carpet at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 32-year-old Aussie actor is up for a Golden Globe this year. HBO’s True Blood is up for “Best Television Series – Drama” and is in competition with Showtime’s Dexter, FOX’s House, HBO’s In Treatment and AMC’s Mad Men.

On the red carpet, Ryan said he was “a little nervous, a little scared but like John Wayne said, ‘Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway.’”

Miss Golden Globe Rumer Willis (in Reem Acra) and actor boyfriend Micah Alberti hit the red carpet at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 20-year-old actress will be handing out the trophies on stage as Miss Golden Globe, an honor traditionally given to the daughter (or son) of a celebrity (Demi Moore, Bruce Willis).

On the red carpet, Rumer shared she’s been practicing: “It’s the light press on the back to get them to [move]. They’re kind of in a daze that they won, but you kind of have to get them to stand in the right place. I’m working on getting my traffic thing going on. The main thing is you have to practice walking in the heels so you don’t trip or anything.”

Rumer used Bristols6 double-stick styling tape to keep red carpet look in perfect place!

Kelly Clarkson (in Nanette Lepore) signs some autographs for fans after being interviewed by UK’s Radio One in London on Sunday (January 11).

As the 26-year-old original American Idol champ said, she’s in town to do some promo work for her new album, All I Ever Wanted.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association just unveiled the nominees for the 2009 Golden Globes, airing Jan. 11 from the Beverly Hilton @ 8PM on NBC.

Both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were nominated for their work in Changeling and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, respectively. Congrats to the happy couple!!!
