Carey Mulligan Hits 2010 Critics' Choice Awards

Carey Mulligan is all smiles in Marni at the 2010 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday (January 15) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 24-year-old An Education actress unfortunately lost Best Actress to both Meryl Streep (Julie & Julia) and Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side). The critically-acclaimed flick also lost Best Picture to The Hurt Locker.

Meryl Streep & Sandra Bullock Kiss & Tie at Critics' Choice Awards

Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock lock lips on stage at the 2010 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday (January 15) in Hollywood, Calif.

The fierce females both tied for Best Actress, picking up awards for their work in The Blind Side (Bullock) and Julie & Julia (Streep).

When Sandra joined Meryl on stage, Sandra joked about tying for Best Actress. She playfully attacked Meryl and screamed “THIS IS BULLS–T!” They later kissed and made up. (:

In other news, Sandra donated $1 million toward Doctors Without Borders, one of the organizations prodiving Haitian earthquake relief.

“I wanted to ensure that my donation would be used immediately to meet the needs of the Haitian people affected by this catastrophic event,” she said in a statement. More Here! »

Abbie Cornish Hits Critics Choice Awads 2010

Abbie Cornish stays classic in black at the 2010 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday (January 15) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 27-year-old Aussie actress, who is dating Ryan Phillippe, wore a black structured sheath dress with structured shoulders from Elie Saab and the “Amantea” shoe featuring criss-Cross ankle straps in black satin from Bally.

Abbie‘s movie Bright Star (Janet Patterson) lost out for Best Costume Design to The Young Victoria (Sandy Powell). During the ceremony, Abbie and actor Jason Bateman presented Best Documentary Feature to The Cove.

Star Trek Beams Into Critics' Choice Awards 2010

Star Trek studs John Cho, Chris Pine, Anton Yelchin and Zachary Quinto suit up for the 2010 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday (January 15) in Hollywood, Calif.

The cast unfortunately lost Best Acting Ensemble to Inglourious Basterds and Best Action Movie to Avatar.

Zachary and Claire Danes (in J.Mendel dress and Casadei peep-toes) presented the award for Best Adapted screen play to Up In The Air‘s Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner.

FYI: John wore a Prada black satin shawl collar one-button tuxedo, white stretch popeline shirt and black bow tie.
