Carrie Underwood is smashing at the 2012 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 18) in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old singer was joined on the red carpet by her husband Mike Fisher.

The day before, Carrie tweeted, “On stage rehearsing for the #AMAs! It’s going to be fun! I heard about some of the other performances…can’t wait!”

Carrie is nominated for Favorite Country Female Artist and will go up against Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift for the award. Carrie is also nominated for Favorite Country Album.
