Miley Cyrus hits the stage in a bear-themed leotard for her performance of “We Can’t Stop” on stage at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center on Sunday (August 25) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The 20-year-old singer twerked alongside dancing bears for her performance of her hit song.

Selena Gomez is stunningly sheer at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center on Sunday (August 25) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Later in the night, the 21-year-old actress and singer won Best Pop Video for her hit single “Come & Get It,” beating out Miley Cyrus‘ “We Can’t Stop,” fun.‘s “Carry On,” Bruno Mars‘ “Locked Out of Heaven,” and Justin Timberlake‘s “Mirrors.” Congrats Selena!

“Come & Get It” is also nominated for Best Song of the Summer.

The 20-year-old entertainer was joined backstage by Robin Thicke, whom she performed with during the show, collaborating on his hit song “Blurred Lines”!

The 23-year-old musician flew from wrapping her concerts in Los Angeles to the Big Apple to present at the award show with BFF Selena Gomez.

Taylor is also nominated for two awards at the show – Video of the Year and Best Female Video, both for “I Knew You Were Trouble”!

Lady Gaga takes the stage in multiple sexy outfits for her performance of her hit single “Applause” at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center on Sunday (August 25) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The 27-year-old entertainer began her performance as a nun in a habit, and showed off several other outfits including a sparkly blazer, and a show stopping white bikini. Gaga even did a throwback to her “Telephone” days with her classic short blonde wig.

The 23-year-old singer was joined on the red carpet by her boyfriend Jason Derulo.
