Mia Wasikowska looks gorgeous at the premiere of her film Tracks during the 2013 Venice International Film Festival held at the Palazzo del Cinema on Thursday (August 29) in Venice, Italy.

The 23-year-old actress was joined at the event by director John Curran and writer Robyn Davidson.

Earlier in the day, Mia attended the photo call for the film after it was announced that Rooney Mara would be replacing her in the upcoming film Carol opposite Cate Blanchett.

Freida Pinto and Carey Mulligan step out in style for Miu Miu Women’s Tales during the 2013 Venice International Film Festival on Thursday (August 29) in Venice, Italy.

Joining the two ladies at the event were Downton Abbey‘s Michelle Dockery, and Gabrielle Union with her beau Dwayne Wade.

Mia Wasikowska hits the red carpet at the photo call for her film Tracks during the 2013 Venice International Film Festival on Thursday (August 29) in Venice, Italy.

The 23-year-old actress was joined at the event by producer Iain Canning, director John Curran, and writer Robyn Davidson.

Rooney Mara just replaced Mia in the upcoming film Carol, according to Variety. She will play opposite Cate Blanchett in the film centering around a love story about pursuit, betrayal and passion that follows the burgeoning relationship between two very different women in 1950s New York.

George Clooney and Sandra Bullock look stunning at the premiere of their film Gravity during the 2013 Venice International Film Festival held at the Palazzo del Cinema on Wednesday (August 28) in Venice, Italy.

The 52-year-old actor and 49-year-old actress’ highly anticipated new film also served as the opening ceremony flick for the big event.

“They were incredibly helpful,” Sandra told The Telegraph about working with astronauts to prepare for her role. “They gave me an inside visual as to why they chose what they do for a living, their love for what is beyond our planet.”
