Oscar and Joaquin were both nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, but they lost out to The Wolf of Wall Street‘s Leonardo DiCaprio.

The 32-year-old actor attended the 2014 Golden Globes as a member of Lee Daniels The Butler‘s cast.

“It’s hard to describe. It’s wonderful – a new discovery every day. It’s great and I’m loving it,” Jesse told People at the show about becoming a new dad to daughter Sadie. “Not getting too much sleep … I’m just trying to put together three solid hours of cogent communication!”

Daniel Bruhl suits up while attending The Weinstein Company & Netflix’s After Party following the 2014 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 12) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 35-year-old Rush actor was joined at the show that evening by his girlfriend Felicitas Rombold. Also spotted attending the party was actor Jeremy Irvine.

Daniel was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for his work in the movie Rush, but he lost to Dallas Buyers Club‘s Jared Leto.

The 2014 Golden Globe Awards reached a big milestone last night after being watched by 20.9 million people, bringing the show its highest viewership in ten years!

The telecast, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the second year in a row, was up 6% in total viewers from last year and it is the top-rated awards show on a major network since last year’s Academy Awards.

Also, big news for NBC: Excluding sports, the network hit a ten-year high in ratings and viewers for the time slot. We bet they are excited that they secured Tina and Amy to host next year’s show already!
