The 40-year-old former soccer star and current Sexiest Man Alive opened up about how he doesn’t see himself as that title.

“I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person,” David told People. “I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don’t ever think of myself that way.”

Also in attendance at the award show were model Naomi Campbell and race car driver Lewis Hamilton.
