The stars of Pan – Hugh Jackman, Levi Miller and Garrett Hedlund – pose for photos on the press line held during 2015 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

Director Joe Wright was also in attendance to give the audience the low down on the upcoming film.

In the film Hugh, who often portrays a superhero, is given the opportunity to play the bad guy in his role as the pirate Blackbeard.

Both Hugh and Joe explained that the film tried to showcase the idea that adults are often “frightening and ridiculous” to children and it was important for the perspective of the film.

Pan is set to be released this September.

Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe sit on the panel for their hit Starz TV series at 2015 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

Series creator Ron Moore and writer Diana Gabaldon were also on hand to discuss the upcoming season.

Ron promised that there will be “new sets, a new show – it’s going to be a whole new Outlander this season.”

Season 2 will cut between 18th Century France and post World War I. Ron also told the crowd the series will return to Scotland halfway through the season.

The show won’t return to Starz until next year but lucky fans got a glimpse at what the show’s next season will entail with an exclusive trailer that was only shown at Comic-Con.

Jennifer Lawrence and Hugh Jackman share a cute moment while attending the X-Men: Apocalypse panel held during 2015 Comic-Con on Saturday evening (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

The two stars were joined by the massive team of actors in the film that included Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Lucas Till, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, and franchise newcomers Olivia Munn, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp (with a shaved head), Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Lara Condor.

“Playing the legend that is Wolverine has been the greatest part of my life. I’m here today for one major reason, and that’s to thank the fans,” Hugh expressed. “You’ve always been there, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Hugh also mentioned that he didn’t even have an agent when he auditioned for X-Men. “That was the moment that changed my life forever,” he said.

Later in the panel, the cast debuted a trailer for the film, which fans can expect to see soon.

The cast of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies get silly inside the Getty Portrait Studio during 2015 Comic-Con on Saturday afternoon (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

Stars Matt Smith, his girlfriend Lily James, Sam Riley, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston, and Bella Heathcote all posed for pics before debuting the first trailer for the film during the panel.

Later on, Natalie Dormer joined Matt to promote their other movie, Patient Zero.

“Being us five girls, the Bennet sisters, fighting together and destroying together was really, really fun,” Lily shared on the panel.

Matt added that “Zombies are exactly what Pride and Prejudice needed, I think.”

Ryan Reynolds and Gina Carano round up the cast of Deadpool for a photo during 2015 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

During the 20th Century Fox panel, Ryan, Gina, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebr and director Tim Miller took to the stage to give fans an inside look at the upcoming film.

“It’s everything we loved about the comics: a guy obviously that’s going to break the fourth wall and the most faithful adaptation of comic to film we’ve ever see,” Ryan told the audience.

“I think this character inhabits a space in the comics universe no character could. It’s a miracle the studio is letting us make Deadpool, let alone a rated-R Deadpool,” he continued.

TJ put it best when he simply told the audience, “You’re gonna f**king love this movie.”

Later in the panel, the cast debuted the first trailer for the upcoming film. Reporters in the audience say it was hilarious and that the crowd demanded for it to be played twice.

Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska hit the press line at the Legendary Pictures panel held during 2015 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

The ladies were joined by their co-star Tom Hiddleston while promoting their film Crimson Peak. During the panel director Guillermo Del Toro revealed some details about the upcoming horror film.

“It’s a straight gothic romance, where certain twists are a little more gender liberating,” Guillermo said. He added that there’d be no twist at the end such as the haunted house being a spaceship or that the characters are actually in a TV show.

Mia, Jessica and Tom also took a seat on the panel mentioning that Guillermo gave them 10 pages of character detail that isn’t in the script, allowing them to enhance their character.

“I love her, she absolutely breaks my heart,” Jessica said of her character. “She’s fiercely loyal and acts out of love, to give and receive love.”

The three The Originals actors joined co-stars Daniel Gillies, Danielle Campbell, Leah Pipes, and Yusuf Gatewood before heading to a signing event with fans.
