Serena Williams looks stunning in a sheer black dress while on the carpet at the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall on Monday night (November 9) in New York City.

The 34-year-old tennis superstar was joined at the ceremony by ballerina Misty Copeland and the U.S. women’s national soccer team, including Abby Wambach, Hope Solo, Alex Morgan, and more.

During the event, Misty was honored at at the ceremony as “the showstopper” for her accomplishments in the American Ballet Theatre and her efforts to bring ballet to communities with little exposure to dance. The women’s soccer team was also honored that evening.

Serena, who was an honoree in 2014, took to the stage that evening to offer advice to young women.

“The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you’re very courageous: be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble,” she said.

Viola Davis poses on the red carpet at the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall on Monday night (November 9) in New York City.

The 50-year-old award winning actress was joined at the event by Uzo Aduba from Orange is the New Black. You may remember, Viola and Uzo won acting Emmy awards this past September for How to Get Away with Murder and Orange is the New Black, respectively. Glad to see these two ladies back together again!

Ellie Goulding is pretty in a patterned dress while arriving for the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall on Monday night (November 9) in New York City.

The 23-year-old British singer was joined on the carpet by Girl Meets World star Rowan Blanchard, magazine editor Tavi Gevinson, and supermodels Karlie Kloss and Jessica Hart.

Earlier in the day, Ellie grabbed some coffee at Starbucks after stopping by for an interview on Good Morning America.

Brooklyn Beckham gives his mom Victoria Beckham a big hug on stage at the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall on Monday night (November 9) in New York City.

The 41-year-old fashion designer is one of many women being honored tonight for their powerful voices and work in the world.

“I’m spending a lot of time in Africa working very closely with the U.N., speaking on behalf of the incredible women that I’m working with and it took me getting to 40 years old to realize I have a powerful voice,” Victoria said this morning on GMA. Oscar winners Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong’o hit up the red carpet at the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall on Monday night (November 9) in New York City.

The pair was joined by another Academy Award winning actress and entertainer Jennifer Hudson!

At one point, many thought Jared and Lupita were a romantic item! But those rumors slowly faded away as she was linked to another individual. Both Jared and Lupita won Oscars back in 2014.
