The 44-year-old actress was joined by the show’s executive producers Lee Daniels, Brian Grazer, and Ilene Chaiken.

It was at the panel that Lee revealed a spinoff based on a young Cookie will be coming soon.

“There is going to be a spinoff from Empire, without question,” he said (via TV Line). “There’s so much ripe story that we’ve talked about already�” about Cookie’s family, what makes her her. That in itself is fascinating to me.”

The 51-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Josh Peck, Christina Milian, Paget Brewster, and more for the panel.

Other Fox stars promoting shows at the event included Minority Report‘s Wilmer Valderrama, Meagan Good, Stark Sands, Nick Zano, and Laura Regan, The Grinder‘s Rob Lowe and Fred Savage, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Andy Samberg.

During the panel, John was asked to confirm if he actually tried to get the Olsen Twins fired from Full House, as depicted in the trailer for the upcoming unauthorized Lifetime movie.

“It is sort of true that the Olsen twins cried a lot,” John said. “It was very difficult to get the shot. So that is actually 100 percent accurate.”

“They brought in a couple of unattractive redheaded kids,” he added. “We tried that for a while and that didn’t work. We were like, all right, get the Olsen twins back. And that’s the story!”

The day before, Lea and her boyfriend Matthew Paetz were spotted walking through LAX Airport together.

The two models were joined at the event by their co-stars Leah Ashley, Joe Zee, Lauren Makk and executive producers Shane Farley and Rebecca Mayer.

“We’re so out as a couple and happy to be together that it wouldn’t be unnatural for him to be on the show and make an appearance or even sit in the audience,” Chrissy expressed at the panel (via E!). “I’m aging. I love bouncing around. I love going on tour with John, we’ve considered ourselves bicoastal for 10 years now. It’s definitely weird and different to have a home now. I’m ready to have a family and call Los Angeles my home.”

Kerry Washington and Viola Davis are all smiles while attending the ABC portion of the 2015 Summer TCA Tour on Tuesday (August 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The ladies were joined by Shonda Rhimes, the creator of their respective shows Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder, and Grey’s Anatomy‘s Ellen Pompeo.

Kerry opened up about why she doesn’t think her character Olivia Pope should be a role model.

“I’ve always thought it was misguided when people tell me that Olivia is their role model,” Kerry said (via TV Line). “Because she’s having an affair with a married man, who is President of the United States. And a murderer.”

“There are things that are very admirable,” she added. “She’s an entrepeneur, she’s very smart, she has an amazing closet… [but] she is nobody’s role model.”
