The 41-year-old actor was joined by his The Big Short co-stars Hamish Linklater (with girlfriend Lily Rabe) and Finn Wittrock.
Christian took home Best Actor in a Comedy for his role in the film.
He beat out his co-star Steve Carell, as well as The Intern‘s Robert De Niro, Trainwreck‘s Bill Hader, and Spy star Jason Statham.
