VIDEO: President Obama Gives Message of Hope on Election Night

President Obama has sent out a message of hope to the American people on election night and it’s something we definitely need to hear amid the likely results of the vote.

The message was posted earlier in the evening, so he might not referring to the possibility of Donald Trump pulling off a victory, but he definitely is trying to get Americans to keep their heads up during this shocking moment.

“No matter what happens, the sun will rise in the morning, and America will still be the greatest nation on earth,” Obama says in the clip.

“Whether your chosen candidates win or lose tonight, let’s all agree, not only to stay engaged, but to push ourselves to do even better,” he added.

Supporters of the Democratic nominee gathered at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City on Tuesday (November 8) expecting to see Clinton give her victory speech. Unfortunately, the night took a shocking turn and she lost several of the key states she would have needed for a win.

Celebs Debate Moving to Canada Amid Trump's Election Wins

A bunch of celebs are talking about moving Canada with it looking more and more likely that Donald Trump can win the presidency amid the Election Night results. He has won some of the biggest swing states like Florida and has a very good chance of winning the race.

In the months leading up the the election, many celebs had spoken out and stated that they would leave the country if Trump became the president.

As Clinton‘s projected win became less of a possibility as the night went on, celebs debated if moving was the right thing to do.

Celebs like Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jon Cryer stated that they would never move to Canada at a time like this because they need to stay in the country and fight for what is right.

Something that is interesting to note is that Canada’s immigration website crashed this evening, as Shonda Rhimes pointed out!

VIDEO: Katy Perry Says Her Parents Voted for Donald Trump

Katy Perry has been a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton throughout the election and she revealed at the candidate’s election night event that her parents voted for Donald Trump.

The 32-year-old singer looked amazing in a red dress while speaking at Hillary‘s headquarters on Tuesday night (November 8) in New York City.

“What a great country this is that gives us the freedom to express our differences, our opinions, our hopes and our fears,” Katy said. “Tonight, my parents voted for Trump. But you know what? We will still all be sitting at the same table for Thanksgiving.”

“And this is the moment we need to remember that we all love our parents and we all love our children,” she added. “I can rest easy knowing that both my nieces at home will never see themselves less than equal.”
