Mindy Kaling looks super gorgeous while stepping out for the Hulu TCA Summer Party held during the 2016 Television Critics Association Summer Tour at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday (August 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

That same day, the 37-year-old actress/showrunner spoke on stage about the show for a panel discussion.

“The single best improvement in my life is not working for people who are focused on the number of people who are watching [the show],” Mindy told the crowd (via EW) about the show moving from Fox to Hulu.

Also in attendance that day were Hugh Laurie, Ethan Suplee, and Gretchen Mol for their new Hulu show Chance.

Tracee Ellis Ross rocks a yellow jumpsuit while attending the Disney ABC Television Group’s 2016 Summer TCA Tour on Thursday (August 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 43-year-old actress was joined by her Black-ish co-stars Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Yara Shahidi, Miles Brown, Marsai Martin, Marcus Scribner, Jenifer Lewis, creator-executive producer Kenya Barris and executive producer Jonathan Groff.

During their Black-ish panel, Kenya and Tracee got frustrated when a reporter asked them what percentage of the show’s audience was black.

“I will be so happy when diversity is not a word,” Kenya expressed (via Variety). “It doesn’t matter who’s watching our show. The fact is that they’re watching it. And I feel like every question at every panel… I get so tired of talking about diversity. These are amazing, talented actors and amazing writers who give their all and they don’t have to do this. It’s crowding the conversation. We always have to box everything in. Isn’t it just a good family show? It’s specifically about a black family. We’re not denying that. But don’t you see yourself in it? Don’t you see your family in it? Why is that important, who watched the show? Why does it matter? Why do we keep having to have these conversations?”

“Those questions continue the conversation in a direction that does not help the conversation,” Tracee added.

Also in attendance at the 2016 Summer TCA Tour was The Real O’Neals stars Martha Plimpton and Jay R. Ferguson.

Grey’s Anatomy‘s Caterina Scorsone, Camilla Luddington and Chandra Wilson strike a pose while attending Disney ABC Television Group’s 2016 Summer TCA Tour on Thursday (August 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

At the event, Caterina, 34, revealed that she is expecting her second child with husband Rob Giles!

“I am! Very, very excited,” Caterina confirmed to ET. “It’ll be challenging. It’s going to happen somewhere during the shooting season. But Shondaland is the best place for that to happen.”

“I don’t think so. We’re picking up the season immediately after we left off, which was the wedding where Amelia was not pregnant,” Caterina revealed, referring to her pregnancy not being written into Amelia’s storyline on Grey’s Anatomy. “It’ll be very fancy footwork for the director of photography.”

Congrats to the happy couple on the wonderful news!

Mariah Carey is all smiles as she makes her way out of Mastro’s Steakhouse after wrapping up dinner on Wednesday evening (August 3) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

That same day, the 46-year-old entertainer posed for photographs during the NBC Universal portion of the 2016 Television Critics Association Summer Tour at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in support of her upcoming reality doc series Mariah’s World – Watch the new trailer below!

During the panel, Mariah told reporters that she didn’t love her American Idol judge experience.

“Ugh! It was the most the most abusive experience!,” Mariah revealed (via Fox News). “By the way, you’ve just driven me to drink.”
