Robert Pattinson is dapper in a blue suit while attending the photo call and press conference for his latest film Good Time held during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on Thursday (May 25) in Cannes, France.
The 31-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Taliah Webster and Buddy Duress, as well as directors Joshua and Ben Safdie.
The movie is about a bank robber (Pattinson) who is unable to evade those who are tracking him down. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Barkhad Abdi also star – Watch the trailer here!
“I always wanted to look like I’ve been street cast. Because we were shooting guerrilla style, I was so nervous [about] people finding out about the shoot and paparazzi being there. It destroys the illusion of it,” Robert expressed at the press conference about shooting throughout Manhattan (via Variety). “What I was doing as a person was feeding into the character, trying to disappear, trying to be a ghost in the crowd.”
“We experimented with a few different things,” Robert added. “You’ve got these pock marks in the skin and no one recognizes you. We shot the movie on the streets of New York, and no one took a cell phone picture.”
