Patricia Arquette was not pleased that her sister Alexis was left out of the Oscars In Memoriam segment.

The Oscar-winning actress explained that she thought the snub was a slight to the transgender community.

“Alexis was a great actor, and had 70 credits, and was really brave to live her truth as a trans woman, and they didn’t include her in the memorial,” Patricia told ET.

She added,”I think that was a real slight to the trans community, especially at this time, when trans kids can’t even go to the bathroom in the United States of America at school. It says a lot about the lack of inclusion…Trans kids can really never look at anyone and see their heroes, and I think that was a big mistake.”

Patricia concluded, “The reality is, trans people are ignored all the time in our culture and our community. They have their civil rights taken away. They’re a very disrespected community.”

Jimmy Kimmel is finally speaking out about the now infamous Oscars mix-up!

The 49-year-old Oscars host opened up about the incident during his late night show on Monday (February 27).

“Except for the end, it was a lot of fun. It went very well. We were chugging along, and then, all of a sudden out of nowhere, it turned into a Maury Povich paternity test show. It was the weirdest TV finale since Lost,” Jimmy said.

He added, “I’m sure you’ve at least heard, La La Land was simultaneously the biggest winner and loser last night…You know it’s a strange night when the word ‘envelope’ is trending on Twitter.”

Jimmy went on to explain what happened from his perspective and how the show was supposed to end – sitting in the audience with his friend Matt Damon.

James Marsden and his musician girlfriend Edei enjoyed some post-Oscars fun last night!

The couple were spotted attending a party on Sunday evening (February 26) at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, Calif.

James was all smiles as he made his way out of the famed hotel and stopped to take photos with some lucky fans.

Later in the night, the couple also stopped by the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, where they had some fun in the photo booth.

“This guy ❤ @james_marsden #vanityfair #oscars,” Edei captioned a photo on her Instagram.

Donald Trump thinks the Oscars spent too much time focusing on politics, and that’s the real cause of the La La Land and Moonlight mix-up at the end.

“I think they were focused so hard on politics that they didn’t get the act together at the end,” Trump said (via Breitbart News). “It was a little sad. It took away from the glamour of the Oscars. It didn’t feel like a very glamorous evening. I’ve been to the Oscars. There was something very special missing, and then to end that way was sad.”

Some moments that were politically charged included Gael Garcia Bernal speaking out against Trump’s border wall and Iranian director Asghar Farhadi denouncing his travel ban.

Adele wasn’t sending her love to a new lover last night after the 2017 Academy Awards, she was sending love to one of her good friends!

The 28-year-old singer took to Instagram to post a congratulatory note and photo for her pal Emma Stone after she won Best Actress at the Oscars.

“Ah Emma ❤️,” Adele captioned a photo of her standing in front of the TV while the actress gave her acceptance speech. “And Moonlight, congratulations so so wonderful ⭐️.”

You might remember how Emma, Adele, and Jennifer Lawrence gave off squad goals when they grabbed dinner together in New York back in November 2015.

The big “envelopegate” incident at the end of the 2017 Oscars wasn’t the only major mistake that happened during the show!

A photo of a woman who is not dead was displayed alongside the name of a deceased costume designer during the In Memoriam tribute.

Australian costume designer Janet Patterson died in October 2015, but a photo of Australian producer Jan Chapman was used instead.

“I was devastated by the use of my image in place of my great friend and long-time collaborator Janet Patterson. I had urged her agency to check any photograph which might be used and understand that they were told that the Academy had it covered. Janet was a great beauty and four-time Oscar nominee and it is very disappointing that the error was not picked up,” Chapman told Variety after the segment aired. “I am alive and well and an active producer.”
