Samira Wiley & Ryan Eggold Team Up To Announce Emmy Awards 2018 Nominations!

Samira Wiley and Ryan Eggold happily strike a pose together while attending the 2018 Emmy Awards Nominations Announcement held at Saban Media Center on Thursday (July 12) in North Hollywood, Calif.

The 31-year-old Handmaid’s Tale star and the 33-year-old Blacklist star gathered bright and early to announce this year’s nominees.

“Congrats @whododatlikedat!!,” Ryan captioned with his Instagram post. “I’ll be rooting for you ✊ And congrats to all nominees! Thanks @televisionacad an honor ❤️”

Be sure to tune into the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards, which are set to air live coast-to-coast on NBC on Monday (September 17). Saturday Night Live‘s Michael Che and Colin Jost will serve as co-hosts this year!

Sandra Oh Makes History with Emmy Nomination!

Sandra Oh has made history with her 2018 Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category!

The 46-year-old actress – who scored the nomination for her work portraying MI-5 officer Eve Polastri in BBC America’s series Killing Eve – is the first actress of Asian descent to be nominated in that category.

Sandra had been nominated for her work on Grey’s Anatomy in the past, but all in the supporting category.

Congrats to Sandra!!

The Good Wife‘s Archie Panjabi previously made history by becoming the first actress of Asian descent to win an Emmy for acting.

Emmys 2018 Nomination Snubs - Who Was Left Off List

The 2018 Emmy Awards nominations came out today, and of course, many fan favorites were left off of the list.

Game of Thrones garnered a whopping 22 nominations – the most for any series this year. Saturday Night Live and Westworld both grabbed 21 nominations each, while The Handmaid’s Tale secured 20 nominations.

Every year, there are some surprising oversights. These are just a small handful!

Chrissy Teigen Reacts to John Legend's Potential for EGOT After His Emmy Nomination!

John Legend‘s Jesus Christ Superstar was nominated for a handful of Emmy nominations just moments ago, and he himself was nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or a Movie for his work in the TV program!

That mean, if John wins, he will have officially EGOT’d! If you don’t know, to EGOT, you must win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award.

John has 10 Grammys to his name, plus an Oscar for his 2015 Best Song with Common, “Glory” and a 2017 Tony Award for co-producing Jitney.
