Justin Timberlake is opening up about how the Prince moment during his 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Show happened.

The 37-year-old singer gave an interview to his best friend Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show after the game on Sunday (February 4) live from Minneapolis, Minn.

“It’s a moment for me if I’m being quite honest because he’s always been the pinnacle of musicianship for me and when we decided… the serendipity and synergy that we would be in Minneapolis and that he’s such a special thing here, aside from what he is all over the world, I just felt I wanted to do something for this city and for him that would just be the ultimate homage to what I consider the GOAT [greatest of all time] of musicians,” Justin said.

“And also, I’m not gonna lie to you guys because Questlove is the encyclopedia on music, but I feel like a gatekeeper on Prince, so if I got the thumbs up from Quest, I’m good,” Justin added, searching for approval from the music producer. Questlove said that the moment was “dope.”

Justin continued, “You’ve got to understand, we got the actual real vocal stems from ‘I Would Die 4 U.’ The actual recording. And then we got uncut footage of him performing it in Purple Rain and somehow, someway, by the Grace of – probably Prince looking down on us – it synced up. It was like this crazy serendipitous moment.”

During the 2018 Super Bowl on Sunday (February 4), one of Tom‘s teammates tossed him the ball and he missed the catch. To add fuel to the fire, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles was also tossed the ball and he scored a touchdown during that moment!

Now, lots of people on Twitter are bringing up that Gisele quote and pointing out how he can’t seem to catch the ball.

“I’ll be honest, no one knows this,” Justin said, before making sure that everyone know about it. “That’s my nervous tick on stage. I flip the microphone. I don’t know where I started doing that, but I haven’t dropped it yet,” he added before knocking on the wooden desk.

Jessica Biel was in the crowd to cheer on her husband Justin Timberlake at the 2018 Super Bowl and they snapped a cute selfie after his performance!

The 37-year-old entertainer performed during the halftime show during the game on Sunday (February 4) in Minneapolis, Minn.

After wrapping up his performance, Justin went to a private box to watch the rest of the game with his wife.

“3 mins left. 1 point game. #SBLII,” Justin captioned the photo, posted to his Instagram account. Jessica also posted some selfies of her eating some football cookies.

A major moment happened on the Super Bowl episode of the hit series This Is Us – we saw the show’s first flash forward!

The series just gave us our first look at the future of The Big Three after giving us flashbacks every episode for the past 31 episodes.

Near the beginning of the episode, we saw a woman who works with the foster care system talk to a little boy living in a group home to tell him that she found him a foster family. While most of us probably assumed this boy was going to the Pearson family, that wasn’t the case.

Later on in the episode, Randall (Sterling K. Brown) shared an emotional moment with his daughter Tess (Eris Baker). She asked him if he was trying to find a new life as he had searched for his father in the past and also welcomed a foster child to the family. Randall told Tess that she would always be his number one and that he is going to make her live in his house until she is 25. And after that point, he said he will be eating dinner with her once a week and visiting her in her office.

The scene then cut to the foster care worker, who we found out is actually adult Tess! An older Randall came into the office to visit her and watch the young boy meet his foster family.

We’ll have to wait and see how many more flash forwards we get in the future!

The 43-year-old actor grew up in Philly and has been a die-hard Eagles fan his entire life, so he was ecstatic to see the team win a Super Bowl for the first time!

Bradley even starred in the movie Silver Linings Playbook, in which his character was a massive Eagles fan. He sat in the owners’ box with Irina during the game.
