Matt has two movies at the festival this year – Papi Chulo and Viper Club.

You might remember that Matt was one of the names being considered for the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades franchise. The role made Jamie a star!

Ryan Gosling is bringing First Man to the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.

The 37-year-old actor hit the red carpet at the premiere on Monday (September 10) at The Elgin in Toronto, Canada.

He was also joined by his co-stars Claire Foy, Brian d’Arcy James, Patrick Fugit, Olivia Hamilton, Kyle Chandler, Pablo Schreiber as well as director Damien Chazelle.

Keira Knightley is starting a conversation about females in film at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.

The 33-year-old actress stepped out for press conference for her new film Colette on Monday (September 10) at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto, Canada.

“I would say the conversation is a massive start, just the fact that we’re saying, yes, we need more female voices, we need more female directors and the female point of view…There’s hunger right now for strong female voices and we have to make sure that’s not a flash in the pan,” Keira said during the event.

In the upcoming film, Keira “portrays the groundbreaking French novelist who began her career by penning the loosely autobiographical Claudine novels, for which her husband Willy took credit.”

The 33-year-old actress was joined by the film’s writer and director, Paul Dano.

Carey opened up to People about playing a mother in the movie and how she related to her character.

“The thing I more identified with was the idea that my 20s have gone,” she said. “I’m not 20 anymore and you hear a song that you sort of listened to when you broke up with boyfriend when you were 18. And you hear that now and think: ‘What, I’m a grownup?!’ It’s terrifying!”

Here is the synopsis for the upcoming movie: “A couple’s relationship becomes complicated when she leaves him for his best friend, and returns after he dies.”

Louis is also the director and co-writer of the film.

Sofia Boutella looks so glamorous on the red carpet at the Climax premiere during 2018 Toronto International Film Festival held at the Ryerson Theatre on Sunday (September 9) in Toronto, Canada.

The 36-year-old actress stars in the drama-horror thriller about a group of French dancers who gather in a remote, empty school building to rehearse on a wintry night and soon learn that their sangria is laced with LSD.

The movie does not currently have a release date in the US.
