The 27-year-old actress hit the blue carpet alongside Regina King as they stepped out to represent their film If Beale Street Could Talk.

Also in attendance was their director Barry Jenkins and co-star Brian Tyree Henry.

If Beale Street Could Talk is nominated for three awards at the show including Best Feature.

Roma, which is nominated for ten awards at the Oscars, was up for Best International Film at this show. It won the award!

We can’t wait to see what they’ll be wearing to the Academy Awards. Both Yalitza and Marina are first-time nominees. They stopped by the DIRECTV Bungalow Presented By AT&T at the show.

The 29-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars from Suspiria – Tilda Swinton, Chloe Moretz, and Mia Goth.

The ensemble cast, director Luca Guadagnino, and the film’s casting director Stella Savino are being presented with the Robert Altman Award at the event.

Aubrey Plaza makes her entrance on the blue carpet at the 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 23) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 34-year-old Parks and Recreation actress is hosting the event this afternoon!

“I was shocked that they asked. I’ve hosted live shows at underground theaters in New York, variety shows when I was doing stand-up, but I’ve really never hosted anything,” Aubrey told THR.

“We’re going to do some things with high production value and some with very low production value,” she added. “I don’t think people necessarily associate me with this, but independent film is really my favorite thing in the world. I watched this show when I was in high school. It’s meaningful to me. It’s not just a gig.”
