The engaged couple was also joined by Jennifer‘s 11-year-old twins Max and Emme for the family-filled day of celebration.

Jennifer shared photos on Instagram and her Instagram Stories that showed the family cooking up a meal together – even the kids joined in on the preparation!

“So grateful today and everyday! Blessings…🧡💛🍁🦃. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!” Jennifer captioned an Instagram post for her 106 million followers. Looks like it was a great day!

Fans who watched NBC’s special Thanksgiving Day football coverage were sad to find out that Carrie Underwood‘s opening intro for Sunday Night Football was not used for the game.

Instead, Zac Brown Band opened the game with a special version of their song “Chicken Fried,” which was appropriately changed to “Turkey Fried.”

Carrie used to do a special holiday performance for NBC’s Thanksgiving coverage, but they previously revealed that she would be taking the holiday off this year.

“Hey America. It’s Zac Brown here with the Zac Brown Band. We’re getting set up for the perfect Thanksgiving,” Zac said in a promo. “We’ve got food, we’ve got family, we’ve got football, and we’ve got our guitars. Because we’re getting ready to cook up a little tune for everyone to jam to.”

Al Roker has no time for butter!

The 65-year-old TV commentator hilariously went viral during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday (November 28) with a small interaction during the parade.

At one point, Al approached a man dressed as a stick of butter and said: “I hate to butter you up, but you’ve got to move on, okay? There you go,” he said, while playfully shoving the butter man.

“Get out of here ya butter! I can’t believe it’s not butter!” he added after the shove.

Social media especially enjoyed the ridiculous interaction, with celebrities like Lin-Manuel Miranda tweeting about the “altercation.”

“You butter believe I did. That guy is toast,” Al amusingly wrote back.

Sia is doing something wonderful for some unsuspecting shoppers!

The We Are Born singer was spotted going from register to register at Walmart paying for shoppers’ items on Thursday (November 28) in Palm Springs, Calif.

When shoppers asked who she was, she simply said her name was “Cici” and that she just won the lottery. Most shoppers didn’t even recognize the singer, as she’s most famously known for her face-covering wigs.

Local media reported she was spotted doing the same thing at a nearby TJ Maxx for shoppers. What a kind gesture for the holiday!

Idina Menzel and Lea Michele are both bringing the holiday cheer!

The 48-year-old Frozen 2 actress and the 33-year-old Scream Queens star were both in attendance to perform and dazzle the crowd during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday (November 28) in New York City.
