Ben Platt Sings 'Tomorrow' During Commercial Break at Tony Awards 2019! (Video)

Ben Platt joins host James Corden for a performance during the commercial break at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

James didn’t have a car to do carpool karaoke, so he instead did commercial break karaoke by having stars sing Broadway tunes while the cameras weren’t rolling.

Lucky for us, audience members took videos on their phones and posted them to social media.

Ben Platt sang the song “Tomorrow” from the musical Annie alongside James. Watch the moment below.

There was luckily a photographer stationed backstage at Radio City Music Hall to capture all of the moments not shown on TV on Sunday night (June 9) in New York City.

James Corden hosted the event for the second time and there were appearances from celebs like Kristin Chenoweth and Laura Benanti (pictured), as well as Sutton Foster, Andrew Rannells, Billy Porter, Lucy Liu, Darren Criss, Cynthia Erivo, and many more.

The casts of Broadway shows are also hanging out backstage while waiting in the wings for their chance to perform.

Cynthia Erivo Performs 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight?' at Tony Awards 2019 (Video)

Cynthia Erivo graces the stage for the final performance of the night at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 32-year-old actress performed the song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?” from The Lion King as part of the In Memoriam tribute.

Cynthia previously won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her work in The Color Purple back in 2016.

Stephanie J. Block Performs Cher's 'Believe' at Tony Awards 2019! (Video)

Stephanie J. Block wears one of Bob Mackie‘s designs while performing as Cher at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The Broadway star is currently playing the iconic superstar in The Cher Show and she won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her work.

Stephanie was joined by co-stars Micaela Diamond and Teal Wicks, who play the younger version of the singer, for a performance of “Believe.”

Bob also won the award for Best Costume Design of a Musical.

Corbin Bleu Dances His Feet Off with 'Kiss Me Kate' Cast at Tony Awards 2019! (Video)

Corbin Bleu basically looks like he’s flying while performing an incredible dance number at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 30-year-old actor joined the cast of Kiss Me, Kate for the show-stopping number “Too Darn Hot” during the awards show. Kelli O’Hara, the show’s Tony-nominated star, introduced the performance.

Kiss Me, Kate was nominated for four awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, but sadly didn’t win any of them. The musical will end its limited engagement at Studio 54 on June 30.

Watch Billy Porter Perform Karaoke During Tony Awards Commercial Break! (Video)

Billy Porter joins host James Corden for a special moment during the commercial break at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

James went up to stars in the audience throughout commercial breaks and tasked them with performing karaoke for the crowd!

Billy picked the song “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” from the classic musical Gypsy and he knocked it out of the park, getting a standing ovation from the audience.
