Shia LaBeouf Joins His 'Honey Boy' Co-Stars Lucas Hedges & Noah Jupe at TIFF Premiere

Shia LaBeouf suits up while walking the red carpet at the Honey Boy premiere held during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 10) at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.

The 33-year-old actor wrote the film and based it on his own experiences as a child actor. He even plays the role inspired by his father.

The character inspired by Shia is played by Lucas Hedges at age 22 and Noah Jupe at age 12. They joined him at the premiere, as did co-star Byron Bowers and director Alma Har’el.

Luke Wilson & Laysla De Oliveira Premiere New Movie 'Guest of Honour' at TIFF 2019

Luke Wilson and Laysla De Oliveira pose for a photo together the red carpet for the Guest of Honour on Tuesday (September 10) in Toronto, Canada.

The 47-year-old actor kept things cool in a navy suit while the 27-year-old actress donned a pretty red dress for the TIFF premiere of their new movie.

Joining Luke at the premiere was his director Atom Egoyan along with co-stars David Thewlis, Rossif Sutherland, and Alexandre Bourgeois.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: “When a hoax instigated by an aggressive school bus driver (Sutherland) goes very wrong, Veronica (De Oliveira) is accused of abusing her position of authority with 17-year-old Clive (Bourgeois) and other students, and is imprisoned. Convinced she deserves to be punished for crimes she committed at an earlier age, Veronica rebuffs her father’s attempts to secure her early release. Confused and frustrated by Veronica’s intransigence, Jim’s anguish begins to impinge on his job. As a food inspector, he wields great power over small, family-owned restaurants. It’s a power he doesn’t hesitate to use,” according to Deadline.

Cynthia Erivo Wows at 'Harriet' TIFF Premiere with Joe Alwyn, Leslie Odom Jr., & More!

Cynthia Erivo makes an incredible entrance on the red carpet at the Harriet premiere during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 10) in Toronto, Canada.

The 32-year-old Emmy, Grammy, and Tony-winning actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Joe Alwyn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jennifer Nettles, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Omar Dorsey, Nick Basta, Mitchell Hoog, and Zackary Momoh. Also there was executive producer Nnamdi Asomugha.

The day before, Cynthia and some of her castmates also stepped out for an interview at the Variety Studio at the AT&T On Location lounge. See those photos in the gallery!

Harriet is already getting a lot of Oscar buzz and it will hit theaters on November 1.

Maya Hawke hits the red carpet in a gorgeous butterfly dress at the premiere of her new film, Human Capital, during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival at Ryerson Theatre on Tuesday (September 10) in Toronto, Canada.

The 21-year-old actress joined co-stars Liev Schreiber, Alex Wolff, Peter Sarsgaard, Betty Gabriel and director Marc Meyers at the premiere event.

Renee Zellweger Looks Stunning at 'Judy' TIFF Premiere; Oscars Season is in Full Swing!

Renee Zellweger is radiant on the red carpet at the premiere of Judy during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 10) in Toronto, Canada.

The Oscar-winning actress was joined at the event by co-star Finn Wittrock and director Rupert Goold.

Based on reviews of the film that have been released already, Renee seems to be a lock for a nomination for Best Actress at the 2010 Academy Awards. She’s previously been nominated three times and won for Best Supporting Actress for Cold Mountain.

Judy will be released in theaters on September 27!

Stephan James & Shamier Anderson Announce Exciting News at TIFF 2019

Stephan James and Shamier Anderson pose for a photo while attending the TIFF Tribute Gala during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on Monday (September 9) in Toronto, Canada.

The two actors, who are actually real-life brothers as well, announced some exciting news at the festival. Their mentorship B.L.A.C.K. (Building a Legacy in Acting Cinema and Knowledge) has partnered with the Canada Media Fund to inspire young diverse talent to move into the arts.

Stephan and Shamier also attended the B.L.A.C.K. Ball that night where they connected diverse talent with filmmakers and industry insiders.

“We couldn’t be happier to partner with the MADE | NOUS initiative. At the B.L.A.C.K Ball, we pay homage to established talent while also introducing the new generation of filmmakers and artists. Our movement shares a common goal with MADE, and that is to celebrate Canada’s creative titans while nurturing the new class of industry innovators,” the guys told Deadline.

Stephan is best known for his work on Amazon’s Homecoming and the movie If Beale Street Could Talk while Shamier stars on the Amazon series Goliath and in the new film Endings/Beginnings.
