Donald Trump Will Definitely Lose @POTUS Account on January 20, Twitter Confirms

Twitter has confirmed that they will hand the @POTUS, @FLOTUS, @PressSec, and other official accounts to the Biden administration on Inauguration Day.

After losing the presidency, Donald Trump is officially going to lose one of his Twitter accounts.

Trump rarely tweets from the @POTUS account, but the account often retweets messages from the @realDonaldTrump account to over 32.8 million people.

Twitter archived Obama‘s tweets to @POTUS44 on Trump‘s Inauguration Day and it’s likely that the current president’s tweets will transition to the @POTUS45 account on January 20, 2021.

“Twitter is actively preparing to support the transition of White House institutional Twitter accounts on January 20th, 2021,” Twitter spokesperson Nick Pacilio told Politico. “As we did for the presidential transition in 2017, this process is being done in close consultation with the National Archives and Records Administration.”

People were surprised to see what Trump DIDN’T tweet about on Friday night.

Donald Trump Speaks Publicly for First Time Since Losing the Election, Won't Send Vaccine to New York

Donald Trump just spoke in public for the first time since losing the 2020 presidential election and he still is not accepting the results.

The current President of the United States spoke to the press from the Rose Garden at the White House on Friday afternoon (November 13) in Washington, D.C.

Joe Biden was projected as the winner of the election last Saturday and just minutes before Trump‘s speech today, news outlets began reporting the final election results. Biden is finishing the race with 306 electoral votes while Trump has 232, the complete opposite from his race with Hillary Clinton.

Trump spoke about his Operation Warp Speed and said that he would not send the U.S. into a lockdown.

“This administration will not be going to a lockdown,” Trump said. “Hopefully, the — whatever happens in the future, who knows which administration will be, I guess time will tell, but I can tell you this administration will not go to a lockdown.”

During the speech, Trump also said he won’t allow the coronavirus vaccine to be sent to New York.

“As soon as April the vaccine will be available to the entire general population with the exception of places like New York State, where, for political reasons, the governor decided to say, and I don’t think it’s good from a political standpoint, but he wants to take his time with the vaccine,” Trump said.

“We won’t be delivering it to New York until we have authorization to do so, and that pains me to say that. This is a very successful, amazing vaccine at 90% and more, but, so the governor, Governor Cuomo, will have to let us know when he’s ready for it,” Trump said.

Here’s what Trump told one of his friends after losing the election.

Ivanka Trump Accepts AP's Race Calls in Favor of Her Father, Despite Family Not Accepting AP Calling Election for Biden

Ivanka Trump is being called out for the hypocrisy of one of her latest tweets.

The daughter of the President of the United States went on Twitter on Wednesday (November 11) to celebrate her father winning the state of Alaska in the 2020 presidential election.

Ivanka retweeted the Associated Press‘ Politics account, which tweeted that they called the race in Alaska for Trump.

“BREAKING: President Trump and Senate Republicans win Alaska, overwhelmingly and by a massive 20 point spread! Put AK in the books for @realDonaldTrump! Congratulations Senator @DanSullivan_AK! Thank you Alaska!” Ivanka tweeted.

The Associated Press called the election for Joe Biden over the weekend and projected that he had defeated Trump. The Trump family is not accepting the loss though and continue to perpetuate voter fraud claims.

Earlier this week, Biden reacted to Trump‘s refusal to concede in the election.

Even Fox News Cut Off Kayleigh McEnany for Spreading Lies About the Election

Kayleigh McEnany, the White House Press Secretary, appeared at a press conference at Republican National Committee headquarters on Monday (November 9) and even Fox News cut off her speech.

The network’s anchor Neil Cavuto interrupted the press conference to tell viewers he couldn’t let them listen to Kayleigh unless she was going to give proof for the false claims she was spreading.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, I just think we have to be very clear,” Neil said while talking over her speech. “She’s charging that the other side is ‘welcoming fraud and welcoming illegal voting. Unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue showing you this.”

He added, “Maybe they do have something else to back that up, but that’s an explosive charge to make, that the other side is effectively rigging and cheating. If she does bring proof of that of course we’ll take you back so far she has started saying, right at the outset, welcoming fraud, welcoming illegal voting.”

Kayleigh was joined at the press conference by RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

Donald Trump sounded like a sore loser while breaking his Twitter silence over the weekend.

Joe Biden & Kamala Harris Celebrate Winning the U.S. Election in Delaware - Watch Their Victory Speeches!

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are celebrating their historic win in Delaware!

The President-Elect and Vice President-Elect took to the stage to give victory speeches after winning the 2020 Election on Saturday night (November 7) in Wilmington, Delaware.

First up, Kamala spoke to supporters, while acknowledging that she is the first woman, and person of color, to hold the position of Vice President.

“But while I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last,” Kamala said. “Because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities and to the children of our country regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: dream with ambition, lead with conviction and see yourselves in a way that others may not simply because they’ve never seen it before.”

Joe then took the stage to deliver his own speech, to share a message with those who voted for Donald Trump.

“For all those of you who voted for President Trump, I understand the disappointment tonight. I’ve lost a couple of times myself. But now, let’s give each other a chance,” Joe said. “It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric, lower the temperature, see each other again, listen to each other again. And to make progress we have to stop treating our opponents as enemies.”

After their speeches, Joe and Kamala were joined on stage by their families, including Joe‘s wife Dr. Jill Biden and Kamala‘s husband Douglas Emhoff.

See the moment from the night that went viral!
