Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts walk the red carpet while attending the 2020 Gold Meets Golden event on Saturday afternoon (January 4) at the Virginia Robinson Gardens & Estate in Los Angeles.

The actresses are longtime best friends and while this is Naomi‘s first time at the annual event, Nicole is there for her fifth year!

Gold Meets Golden always brings together Hollywood stars and Olympic athletes. The event benefits Angel City Sports, a Los Angeles organization that fosters young disabled athletes with the resources, coaching and equipment they need to train as future adaptive Paralympic hopefuls.

Naomi was seen posing with former figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi.

Leonardo DiCaprio keeps a low profile while leaving the Sunset Tower Hotel following a pre-Golden Globes party on Friday night (January 3) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 45-year-old actor was one of many celebs in attendance at a party to celebrate the movie Parasite and director Bong Joon-Ho. Leo was seen greeting the director during his brief appearance at the event.

Leo then went down the street to join girlfriend Camila Morrone at W Magazine’s Best Performances party.

“The true star of the evening though, was Leonardo DiCaprio, who arrived in the last hour of the party and quickly was holding court in a corner of the deck, despite a low baseball cap that kept him somewhat hidden from the crowd,” THR reported about that party.

Some of the brightest stars in Young Hollywood were in attendance at W Magazine’s Best Performances Party during Golden Globes Weekend on Friday night (January 3) at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif.

Golden Globe nominees Joey King, Kaitlyn Dever, Ben Platt, and Beanie Feldstein all stepped out for the event. They are nominated for their work in The Act, Unbelievable, The Politician, and Booksmart, respectively.

Joining the stars at the event were Ben‘s The Politician co-star Zoey Deutch, Kaitlyn and Beanie‘s Booksmart co-stars Molly Gordon and Diana Silvers, Big Little Lies‘ Kathryn Newton, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Margaret Qualley and Sydney Sweeney.

All of the projects mentioned are nominated for Golden Globes and we hope some of these stars win!

Cynthia Erivo, Charlie Hunnam, and Awkwafina walk the red carpet at W Magazine’s Best Performances Party during Golden Globes Weekend on Friday night (January 3) at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif.

The event was held to celebrate the magazine’s Best Performances issue, which will be on newsstands next month.

Cynthia and Awkwafina are both nominated for Golden Globes this weekend for their performances in Harriet and The Farewell, respectively. Charlie was joined at the party by his Jungleland director Max Winkler and his father Henry Winkler.

Also in attendance at the party were Marriage Story actress Laura Dern and director Noah Baumbach, Pain and Glory actor Antonio Banderas and director Pedro Almodovar, The Irishman‘s Anna Paquin, and Dolemite Is My Name‘s Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Keegan-Michael Key with wife Elisa Pugliese.

Joaquin is up for a Golden Globe this weekend for his work in the movie and he’s expected to earn an Oscar nomination for the role as well.

At the party, Rooney was seen meeting up with Waves breakout star Taylor Russell.

The Knives Out co-stars are going to have a big weekend as their movie is nominated for Best Picture at the Globes and Ana is up for an acting award as well. Their co-star Lakeith Stanfield was also at the party.

Chris is one of nine celebrities who are featured on the cover of W Magazine‘s new issue.
