In Tuesday night’s (April 2) episode, titled, “Who at Peace,” Asher’s views on the construct of marriage complicate his future with Jerome. Meanwhile, Asher also briefly revisits his religious past to aid a patient’s conversion to Judaism for his fiancée.
Prior to the episode airing, ABC promised that this week’s ep would be a “must-see” hour of television and there was a “heart-stopping moment,” and that was definitely the case!

Grey’s Anatomy has been officially renewed for season 21 by ABC!
Shonda Rhimes, the show’s creator, released a statement to THR sharing, “The loyalty and love of Grey’s Anatomy fans has propelled us into a historic 21st season, and I could not be more grateful. [Showrunner] Meg Marinis’ storytelling is a gift that continues to keep the show vibrant, compelling and alive, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for next season.”
The series is the longest-running medical TV drama in history.

ABC just officially renewed 9-1-1 for an 8th overall season, and second on the network, Variety reports.
If you don’t know, the fan favorite series aired its first six seasons over on Fox before the network canceled the show. ABC swooped in and saved the series, which began airing season 7 just about 2 weeks ago.
The show’s 100th episode is actually coming up this coming Thursday, so what a way to celebrate!

The Top 24 contestants for the latest season of American Idol have been revealed!
Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie returned as the judges for the 22nd season of the long-running singing competition series and the seventh on ABC.
The Hollywood Week episode aired on Sunday (March 31) and each contestant was asked to perform a solo song with 56 of them advancing to the next round.
During the Showstopper round, the top 56 contestants performed again in front of the judges and a live audience. The top 24 contestants advanced to the next round, which was filmed at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii.
ABC teased that the biggest cut in American Idol history was made during Hollywood Week this year.
