Bethany Hamilton is a mom of three!
The 31-year-old pro surfer gave birth to her third son on Valentine’s Day, Sunday (February 14).
Bethany‘s husband Adam Dirks announced the arrival of baby No. 3 on her website, revealing that they named their son Micah.
“It’s a boy! His name is Micah,” Adam wrote. “Mama is happy and healthy. We are just so thankful that everything went really smooth!”
He continued, “It’s an amazing blessing… the birthing process and the miracle of life that God has given. We are humbled and thankful that we get another opportunity to raise a son in his faith. Hopefully we can be good examples and love on him.”
Bethany and Adam first announced they were expecting again back in October. They have been married since 2013 and share two other sons – Tobias, 5, and Wesley, 2.
If you didn’t know, Bethany was the victim of a 2003 shark attack, where she lost one of her arms. She came back with extreme resilience to continue her celebrated surfing career.
