In addition, Jennifer Garner, James Marsden, Tyrel Jackson Williams and Zoe Chao have also joined the show.

“We finished 12 years ago, and our final episode had something like 13,000 viewers, so it was not yet a cult classic at the time,” Adam shared on the talk show. “But people have discovered it in the time since, and I think that’s part of what makes it special to people, is that they had to dig it up and find it themselves.”

He added, “[Fans] feel some ownership over it, which they should because we have now started up again and rebooted because of them, because people found it.”

'Don't' Host Adam Scott Explains Why His Kids Are Embarrassed By His Hosting Gig

The new game show Don’t is launching tonight on ABC and Adam Scott is opening up about why his kids are embarrassed by his hosting gig.

Ryan Reynolds is the executive producer of the series and he provides voiceover. The show follows four-member teams competing for a chance to win up to $100,000 while doing hilarious tasks.

Adam says that his kids – daughter Frankie and son Graham – have never shown an interest in his projects, but he hopes that changes with this show.

“They think it’s ridiculous. They’ve never really shown an interest in watching stuff that I’m in. I hope that sort of ends with this. I feel like they could like it,” he told Fox News.

“One thing is there is a billboard for the show right down the street from our house, and that’s been deeply embarrassing to them,” Adam added. “So it’s not a great start, ABC – as far as hooking my kids in – is having a billboard down the street from our house. They are not happy about that, but I think they would get there. I think they would like it the most if they could get a blooper reel. They like watching me screw up. That’s what would amuse them the most, I think.”

'Parks & Recreation' Cast Reuniting for Scripted Special Taking Place in Social Distancing Era

The cast of the beloved NBC series Parks and Recreation will be reuniting for a scripted special that will raise money for food banks amid the ongoing health crisis.

Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, Retta, and Jim O’Heir are all confirmed to reprise their roles in the special, which will air on Thursday, April 30 at 8:30pm ET on NBC.

Here’s a synopsis of the special (via TV Line): “Pawnee’s most dedicated civil servant, Leslie Knope, is determined to stay connected to her friends in a time of social distancing.”

Michael Schur, the executive producer of the series, said, “Like a lot of other people, we were looking for ways to help and felt that bringing these characters back for a night could raise some money. I sent a hopeful email to the cast, and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life, and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!”

Fans are encouraged to donate to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund during the special. NBCUniversal, the Parks and Rec cast, and sponsors State Farm and Subaru of America will be matching donations up to $500,000 as well.
