Celebrities are speaking out to pay tribute to the late Adam West, who sadly just passed away.
The actor, best known for starring as Batman in the 1960s series of the same name, died at the age of 88 due to leukemia on Friday night (June 9) in Los Angeles.
Adam has recently voiced the role of the character Adam West on the Fox series Family Guy. Seth MacFarlane, the creator and star of the show, has paid his respects to Adam with a beautiful tribute.

Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane Pays Tribute to Adam West
Seth MacFarlane, the creator and star of the hit Fox animated series Family Guy, is speaking out to pay tribute to his friend and co-star Adam West, who just passed away.
“Family Guy has lost its mayor, and I have lost a friend,” Seth started his statement on Twitter. “Adam West was a joy to work with, and the kind of guy you always wanted to be around. His positivity, good nature, and sense of fun were undeniable, and it was always a big jolt of the best kind of energy when he walked in to record the show. He knew comedy, and he knew humanity.”
“I am beyond fortunate to have had the privilege of working with him, and he will be profoundly missed by all of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have given, Mr. Mayor. You’re irreplaceable,” he added.
Adam lost his short battle with leukemia at the age of 88.

Adam West, best known for starring as the title character on the 1960s series Batman, has died at the age of 88.
The actor died on Friday night (June 9) in Los Angeles with his family surrounding him.

Adam passed away following a short battle with leukemia. “Our dad always saw himself as The Bright Knight and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans’ lives. He was and always will be our hero,” the family told THR in a statement.
In recent years, Adam voiced the role of a character who was appropriately named Adam West on the Fox animated show Family Guy.
