Octavia Spencer is a blue beauty while attending the premiere of Fruitvale Station during the 2013 Los Angeles Film Festival held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Monday (June 17) in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Michael B. Jordan, Melonie Diaz, Ahna O’Reilly, and producer Forest Whitaker.

Fruitvale Station centers on the “true story of Oscar, a 22-year-old Bay Area resident who wakes up on the morning of December 31, 2008 and starts on his resolutions early: being a better son to his mother, whose birthday falls on New Year’s Eve, being a better partner to his girlfriend, who he hasn’t been completely honest with as of late, and being a better father to T, their beautiful 4 year old daughter.”

James Franco and Ahna O’Reilly hit the red carpet at the premiere of their film As I Lay Dying during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 20) at Palais des Festival in Cannes, France.

The 35-year-old actor and the 28-year-old actress were joined by their co-star Beth Grant and special guest Rosario Dawson.

Earlier in the day, the cast posed together at a photo call to promote the new movie.

James Franco helps honor his pal Ahna O’Reilly at The Art of Elysium‘s event during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 19) at M/Y Harle in Cannes, France.

The 35-year-old actor, along with Rabbit Bandini and Leon Max, honored Ahna for her work in the films As I Lay Dying and Fruitvale Station, both of which are playing at the festival.

Ahna was joined by her various co-stars Octavia Spencer, Melonie Diaz, and Beth Grant, as well as JustJared.com‘s Jared Eng at the event. She was seen applying her Burt’s Bees at the party.

James Franco attends a photo call for his new film As I Lay Dying during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 20) in Cannes, France.

The 35-year-old actor stars in and directed the movie and was joined by his co-stars Ahna O’Reilly, Tim Blake Nelson, and Beth Grant.

Based on the 1930 classic by Faulkner, As I Lay Dying is the story of the death of Addie Bundren (Grant) and her family’s quest to honor her wish to be buried in the nearby town of Jefferson.
