The season premiere of Dancing With the Stars aired tonight and the top scores of the evening went to One Day at a Time actress Justina Machado and Disney Channel star Skai Jackson!

The two actresses earned scores of 21 out of 30 points for their first dances on Monday (September 14), during the episode taped live in Los Angeles.

Skai and her partner Alan Bersten performed a tango to the song “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj while Justina and her partner Sasha Farber did a Cha-cha-cha to the tune of “Respect” by Aretha Franklin.

There were 15 performances during the season premiere and everyone will be back next week to perform again. The scores from the two performances will be combined with this week’s audience votes to determine who goes home at the end of next week’s show.

Skai Jackson seems to be joining Dancing with the Stars!

The 18-year-old Disney Channel star was spotted arriving at a dance studio on Saturday afternoon (August 29) in Los Angeles.

Joining Skai at the studio was Alan Bersten, who appears to be her partner for the season.

Skai tried to stay hidden, wearing a a face mask and an oversized, orange hoodie. Despite trying to stay incognito, Skai‘s handbag gave away her identity. She was spotted carrying a Von Dutch bag with her into the studio, which is the same bag she posed with for an Instagram photo the day before.

Skai is best known for her work on the Disney Channel shows Jessie and Bunk’d, in which she played Zuri Ross. She has been featured on Time magazine’s list of the Most Influential Teens and is also a published author!

Also stopping by the dance studio was this reality star, confirming the rumors that she is joining the show this season.

Alan Bersten puts his six pack abs on display while going for a hike on Wednesday (August 19) in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old Dancing With the Stars pro dancer was joined by his trainer Wesley while getting in a sweat at Fryman Canyon.

“We just did Fryman Canyon, twice, running it, and it is a hot day,” Alan said in an Instagram story after their workout. “But we’re getting ready for the season. Guys, I’m so excited to be back!”

It was just announced that Alan will be one of the returning pro dancers on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars and a new rule for pros was revealed the other day.

Hannah Brown throws her hand in the air after her best dance of the season on Dancing With the Stars!

Hannah, the former star of The Bachelorette, was one of four finalists on DWTS this season and she kicked off the night by recreating her Viennese Waltz with partner Alan Bersten. They earned 28 out of 30 points for that performance.

For the freestyle dance, Hannah received rave reviews and she earned her first perfect 30 score of the season.

In the end, Hannah was voted the winner by America!!!

After hearing all the judge’s feedback, Hannah and Alan received 24 out of 30 points.

The 24-year-old The Bachelorette alum and partner Alan Bernsten took to the dance floor on Monday night (October 14) in Los Angeles.

The duo performed a romantic passionate Foxtrot set to “A Whole New World” by Zayn and Zhavia Ward from the Aladdin live-action film.

After hearing the judge’s feedback, they picked up 25 out of 30 points and tied for first place.

Hannah Brown is reacting to the rumors that she is dating her Dancing With the Stars pro partner Alan Bersten.

The dancing pair is currently the highest-scoring pair of the season and fans think that they might possibly be a couple in real life too.

While having dinner at Erewhon on Sunday night (September 29) in Los Angeles, Alan and Hannah answered fan questions on Instagram Stories.

“Are y’all a thing?? ;)” one fan asked. Hannah jokingly responded, “Yeah, we’re a thing. Team Alabama Hannah!”

Demi Burnett, who became one of Hannah‘s best friends when they were on The Bachelor together, has spoken out about rumors of the new couple.

“I told her, ‘Don’t s–t where you eat,’” Demi said on The Viall Files podcast. “I don’t know if there’s any chemistry. I don’t want anyone putting all that pressure on her. I feel like everyone is like, ‘Ooh, they’re gonna fall for each other?’ Who knows!”
