Rashida Jones Wins Best Music Film at Grammys 2019!

Rashida Jones is a Grammy winner!

The 42-year-old actress and director Alan Hicks won the award for Best Music Film for their documentary Quincy about her dad music icon Quincy Jones.

The pair was also spotted arriving on the red carpet at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Rashida donned a pretty navy dress while Alan rocked an all black tux for music’s big night.

Rashida Jones Attends Docs to Watch Panel at SCAD Savannah Film Festival 2018!

Rashida Jones is speaking out about her new movie!

The 42-year-old Parks & Recreation actress, writer and director was in attendance at the Docs to Watch Directors Roundtable hosted by Scott Feinberg of The Hollywood Reporter on Sunday (October 28) in Savannah, Ga.

Rashida and her co-director Alan Hicks both attended the panel to talk about their movie, Quincy.

The Netflix documentary is an intimate look into the life and career of the iconic Quincy Jones. The movie premiered on September 21.

Rashida Jones Premieres Documentary She Directed About Dad Quincy Jones!

Rashida Jones walks the red carpet with her dad Quincy Jones at the premiere of their documentary Quincy during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday (September 9) in Toronto, Canada.

Rashida directed the documentary alongside Alan Hicks and it gives an intimate look at her legendary father’s life. The movie will debut on Netflix on September 21.

Also in attendance at the premiere were Mark Ronson, Chaka Khan, Petra Nemcova, and Jesse Williams.
