Alex Borstein Wins Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at Emmy Awards 2018!

Alex Borstein is a winner!

The 47-year-old actress won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work as Susie Myerson in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel at the 2018 Emmy Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Monday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

This is her second Emmy, following her win at the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for her role as Lois Griffin on Family Guy.

Rachel Brosnahan & Co-Stars Promote 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' at Summer TCAs!

Rachel Brosnahan shares a laugh on stage as she steps out for the 2018 Summer TCAs Press Tour on Saturday afternoon (July 28) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 27-year-old Golden Globe-winning actress looked pretty in a white blouse and blush-colored skirt as she brought her award winning show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to the press event.

Joining Rachel at the event were her co-stars Michael Zegen, Alex Borstein, and Tony Shalhoub.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel – which is nominated 14 Emmy Awards – is set to return to Amazon Video later this year.

Rachel Brosnahan & Co-Stars Kick Off 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Emmy Campaign

Rachel Brosnahan arrives in style for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Emmy FYC Press Night at the Hollywood Athletic Club on Saturday (April 14) in Hollywood.

Also seen in attendance at the event were co-stars Tony Shalhoub, Michael Zegen, Marin Hinkle and Alex Borstein, as well as executive producer Daniel Palladino, writer and creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.

At the event, Rachel spoke about doing stand-up comedy on the show.

“Somebody else has written these brilliant jokes for me,” she said at the event (via Variety). “There is an audience that’s paid to laugh at my jokes!”

Rachel Brosnahan Joins 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Co-Stars at NYC Premiere!

Rachel Brosnahan hits the red carpet at the premiere of her new Amazon series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Monday (November 13) at the Village East Cinema in New York City.

The 26-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, and Marin Hinkle, among others.

Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino created the new series about a 1950s housewife who turns into a stand-up comic after her life takes a surprise turn.

The upcoming series will begin streaming on Amazon Prime on November 29. Check it out!

Rachel Brosnahan Transforms from Housewife to Comedian in 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Trailer!

Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is back with a brand new series called The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and it looks like it’s going to be everyone’s new obsession!

The new series stars Rachel Brosnahan as Midge Maisel, whose life is on track” husband, kids, and elegant Yom Kippur dinners in their Upper West Side apartment. But when her life takes a surprise turn, she has to quickly decide what else she’s good at – and going from housewife to stand-up comic is a wild choice to everyone but her.

Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, and Marin Hinkle also star in the show, which will begin streaming on Amazon Prime on November 29.
