Kelvin Harrison Jr. finds a spot for himself in the French court in the trailer for his new movie Chevalier.

The 28-year-old Cyrano actor is embodying Joseph Bologne – a violinist who charms Marie Antoinette – in the upcoming movie directed by Stephen Williams and written by Stefani Robinson.

He appears alongside the likes of Samara Weaving, Lucy Boynton, Ronke Adekoluejo, Marton Csokas, Alex Fitzalan, and Minnie Driver.

Kathryn Newton is opening up about The Society‘s cancellation from Netflix, just after one season.

The 23-year-old actress played Allie Pressman on the series, opposite Gideon Adlon, Alex Fitzalan and more, who also spoke out after the announcement.

“Very sad news this morning. Not sure what to say right now but I wanted to share some pics of my time on set for season 1 of The Society. Love you all ❤️,” Alex shared on his Instagram, with a handful of behind-the-scenes photos from filming.

Gideon shared a short thank you to her sign language coach for the show on Instagram.

“Big big big love to my sign language coach on @thesociety @rlmoriarty. 🤟🏼 you always. I could not have achieved this without you and @seanberdy,” she wrote.

Kathryn took to both Twitter and Instagram to address the cancellation.

“I am proud,” she shared with a screenshot of the cast on a video call.

The Society and this other young adult show were cancelled due to the pandemic.

The new show will feature 10 hour-long episodes that debut on May 10. The series follows a group of teenagers who are mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy New England town without any trace of their parents. Their newfound freedom will be fun… but it will also be very dangerous. As they struggle to figure out what has happened to them and how to get home, they must establish order and form alliances if they want to survive.

The cast of young stars includes Rachel Keller, Kathryn Newton, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Jacques Colimon, Sean Berdy, Toby Wallace, Gideon Adlon, Olivia DeJonge, Alex MacNicoll, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jose Julian, Salena Qureshi, Jack Mulhern, and Grace Victoria Cox.

The first season will consist of ten one-hour episodes, which were filmed outside of Boston, Mass.

The cast includes Rachel Keller, Kathryn Newton, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Jacques Colimon, Sean Berdy, Toby Wallace, Gideon Adlon, Olivia DeJonge, Alex MacNicoll, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jose Julian, Salena Qureshi, Jack Mulhern and Grace Victoria Cox.

Joey has a bunch of friends at the screening, including sister Hunter King, Seth Green, Lydia Hearst, Abby Quinn, and Kevin Miles. Her future The Bayou co-star Dylan O’Brien also stepped out to show support.

Slender Man is about a group of friends in a small town in Massachusetts, who are fascinated by the internet lore of the Slender Man and attempt to prove that he doesn’t actually exist – until one of them mysteriously goes missing. The film hits theaters on August 10!

Javier Botet plays the Slender Man.

Slender Man is directed by Sylvain White, and tells the story of a tall, thin, horrifying figure with unnaturally long arms and a featureless face, who is reputed to be responsible for the haunting and disappearance of countless children and teens.
