Mariah Carey‘s estranged older sister Alison has sadly been arrested for prostitution, according to local publication, The Daily Freedman.
The 55-year-old sister of the singer was arrested in Saugerties, New York after after she was caught soliciting money from an undercover police officer posing as a customer.
During the arrest, Alison identified herself as Mariah‘s sister and the police chief says he confirmed the claim with an Internet search.
Earlier this year, Alison attempted to reach out to Mariah via a video message but it appears that the sisters did not get in touch.
