Amanda Bynes keeps it cute in an American flag top and animal-print shorts while out and about on Thursday (August 16) in Studio City, Calif.

The 26-year-old actress reportedly ran into a bit of car trouble. Here’s how it went down, according to photographers: Amanda pulled into a shopping center and walked to the nearest gas station for help. A gas station employee walked back to Amanda‘s car to pump a gallon of gas. She then jumped into her car leaving the gas cap open. Oops!

Earlier in the week, Amanda was spotted sporting the same shades and shorts in Woodland Hills.

Amanda Bynes shows off her platinum blonde locks as she leaves Starbucks on Tuesday (August 14) in Woodland Hills, Calif.

The 26-year-old actress picked up a hibiscus iced tea before heading into CVS Pharmacy to do some shopping.

Amanda pleaded “not guilty” to her misdemeanor DUI charge back in June – she has a pretrial setting conference scheduled for September 12.

Amanda Bynes has been officially charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, which dates back to her arrest on April 6 of this year, according to E!.

Scheduled for an arraignment tomorrow, the 26-year-old actress will only be sending her lawyer, because the charge is a misdemeanor.

In response to the charge, Amanda took to her Twitter, and tweeted directly at President Obama.

“Hey @BarackObama… I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end” she wrote.

Amanda Bynes tries to cover her face while leaving the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station on Friday (April 6) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 26-year-old actress was booked after she was arrested earlier in the morning for driving under the influence.

At 3 a.m. “a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy in a marked black and white radio car, was stopped at the intersection of … Robertson Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard preparing to turn right onto Santa Monica Boulevard when a black BMW driven by actress Amanda Bynes attempted to pass the right of the radio car, colliding with the right rear quarter panel of the radio car,” said a statement released by the Sheriff’s Department (via People). “There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles.”

Amanda Bynes was arrested for DUI early Friday morning (April 6) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 26-year-old actress allegedly “was attempting to pass a cop car … when she sideswiped the vehicle. She was pulled over and cops determined she was not fit to be behind the wheel,” according to TMZ, which also obtained her mugshot (pictured).

Amanda was arrested at 3 a.m.; at the time TMZ broke the story, she was still behind bars. Her bail was set at $5,000.

The website also reports that Amanda was pulled over last month for talking on a cell phone. She allegedly drove away while the officer was writing her up. She later stopped by the police station and signed the ticket.
