Amanda Marsh has revealed that her ex, the first Bachelor star ever, Alex Michel is a happily married man.
During her interview on the US Weekly podcast, the first winner of the franchise opened up about what she’s been doing since the show and shined a light on just where Alex disappeared to.
Alex was noticeably absent from last night’s episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever!.
While host Chris Harrison teased that the show would be catching up with him, at the end, he explained that the show wasn’t actually able to find him at all.
“I heard he’s married and I saw pictures of him and his children,” Amanda shared on the podcast. “And [they’re] beautiful. I’m so happy for him.”
She adds, “It is impressive how hidden he is. It has been six years since I’ve heard from him and, you know, after a while out of respect, probably, you do let go of these relationships, but you do kind of wonder a little bit just inside your gut, ‘Is he OK?’ … He is OK. And I think just happy with his life and that’s great.”
Alex chose Amanda to be with at the end of the first season, which lined up Trista Sutter to become the first Bachelorette star.
