Mean Girls: The Musical movie is in the works and you may be wondering which original stars are returning for the new iteration of the famed 2004 film.

Well, Tina Fey, who wrote the movie and the musical that followed, will be returning as Ms. Norbury and Tim Meadows will be reprising his role as Principal Duvall in the film.

But you may be wondering, will the four main leads from the movie – Rachel McAdams, Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert – be reprising their roles?

Well, sources say, they were asked and are willing to come back. But there has been a major halt in negotiations.

Susan Sarandon is reacting to Amanda Seyfried‘s upcoming project.

Last week, it was revealed that Amanda, 37, and Evan Rachel Wood are currently working on a musical adaption of the 1991 movie Thelma & Louise, which Susan, 76, starred in alongside Geena Davis.

Amanda Seyfried lost out on the role of Glinda in the upcoming Wicked movies, but she’s giving fans a peek at what her Glinda might have been like.

The 37-year-old actress sang a snippet of the song “Popular” in a video that was posted to Instagram by her longtime fashion stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

“Congratulations to @mingey for her #GoldenGlobe for her incredible performance as Elizabeth Holmes in @thedropouthulu! And she may be goofing around here on set but YES she can sing! The 37-year-old actress stunned on the red carpet in a 2020 Dior Haute Couture dress that had been cut from single piece of twisted, fringed gold lamé chiffon.

Amanda Seyfried dazzles in a brushed gold gown at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel on Sunday (January 15) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actress picked up the Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television award at the show, for her role as Elizabeth Holmes in Hulu’s The Dropout.

Amanda was nominated alongside Inventing Anna‘s Julia Garner, Prey‘s Amber Midthunder, and Gaslit‘s Julia Roberts.
