Earlier in the day, Chelsea urged her Twitter followers to vote against a proposed amendment in North Carolina.

“North Carolina- Vote AGAINST amendment one tomorrow. Just like camel toe it’s not good for anybody,” Chelsea wrote.

Chelsea Handler and her boyfriend Andre Balazs attend the Time 100 Gala celebrating Time‘S 100 Most Influential People In The World held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Tuesday (April 24) in New York City.

The 37-year-old Chelsea Lately talk show host was given one of the coveted spots on the list. Fellow comedienne Kathy Griffin wrote a piece for Chelsea for the annual issue.

“Few women in comedy have gotten the attention and respect of the Establishment. Chelsea has, while being raw, hilarious and unafraid to cross the line — and take it from me, that combination doesn’t always go over. And [Ryan] Seacrest, if you’re reading this, remember: it won’t be long before Chelsea can buy and sell you,” Kathy wrote.

Chelsea Handler and her hotelier beau, Andre Balazs, have called split, a rep for the actress tells JustJared.com.

The 36-year-old funnywoman, who will hit the big screen early next year in This Means War, dated Andre for just under a year.

Earlier in the week, Chelsea was honored with the Queen of the Night award at Glamour‘s Women of the Year Awards in New York City. Presenting Chelsea with the award was her good friend Jennifer Aniston.

The 36-year-old comedienne covers Hamptons‘ Memorial Day issue and recently shared that she likes putting her own spin on what people think is normal for television personalities.

“I like underdogs,” Chelsea told the mag. “I like people that don’t belong on television. There’s no way anybody would put Brad Wollack on television. I think it’s hilarious to put my brother on TV; there’s no way in the world that someone would put my brother on TV. I like putting people like Chuy on.”

“I like saying ‘Screw you’ to everybody that thinks there is one way to do television,” Chelsea concluded.

Chelsea Handler enjoys a night out with her beau, hotelier Andre Balazs, on the top of The Standard Hotel on Thursday (May 19) in NYC.

The 36-year-old comedienne and late-night talk show host recently opened up about her latest book, “Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me.”

“This book I just kind of oversaw and edited and kind of added stuff at the end of people’s chapters and added a bunch of pictures,” she told NPR.

“But this book to me is kind of like … the end of the road as far as my practical jokes go, because I don’t know who’s ever going to believe anything I say again after this. It’s like the girl who cried vodka,” Chelsea added.

Chelsea Handler sticks close to her boyfriend, hotelier Andre Balazs, at a party he threw to celebrate the release of her new book, “Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me“, at the Boom Boom Room in NYC on Saturday (May 7).

The party, which was sponsored by Belvedere Vodka, was also attended by Lucy Liu, Katie Couric, Josh Hartnett, Vera Wang, and Michelle Trachtenberg.

“Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me” hits stores on Tuesday (May 10)! The book is a collection of tales about Chelsea tricking her friends and family into believing stories of total foolishness and into behaving like total fools.

Chelsea will be embarking on a nationwide tour to promote the book’s release later this month.

Chelsea Handler snuggles up to hotelier Andre Balazs while they partied together at nightlife hot spot Tao at the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift during the 2011 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday night (January 22) in Park City, Utah.

“Chelsea had her arm around Andre most of the time and snuck in a few kisses,” a spywitness tells JustJared.com exclusively. “They looked really cute together as a couple.”

Earlier in the evening, Chelsea, 35, and Andre, 52, watched Florence and the Machine perform at the decked out Bing Bar, where we’ve been blogging all week during Sundance.

“They snuck in through the back entrance right before the performance started,” another source tells Just Jared. “Chelsea and Andre sat on a giant speaker toward the side of the stage and looked really flirty.”

This romance definitely seems to be blossoming. Andre was scheduled to leave Sundance today but is staying an extra day to spend some extra quality time with Chelsea.

Less than a month ago, Chelsea tweeted of picture of herself and her rumored then-boyfriend, rapper 50 Cent, in bed together. Andre has been romantically linked to Uma Thurman, Naomi Campbell, and Renee Zellweger.
