Andrea Riseborough is set to join Alexander Skarsgard in the upcoming horror thriller Hidden, THR reports.

The 30-year-old English actress and Alexander, 35, will play husband and wife in the film “about a family hiding in a bomb shelter after escaping a mysterious outbreak.”

The movie, which Matt and Ross Duffer will both write and direct, is scheduled to begin shooting this year.

Andrea previously worked with Madonna on W.E.. She can also be seen in Welcome to the Punch opposite James McAvoy and Mark Strong later this year.

W.E., which will debut in theaters in limited release on February 3, tells the story of the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcee Wallis Simpson as well as a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.

Last week, Madonna hit the red carpet with Andrea for the premiere of W.E. at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.

The 53-year-old director of the movie posed on the red carpet with actors Andrea Riseborough and James D’Arcy.

“Well, the Oscars, the nominations are coming out tomorrow, and fingers crossed, I hope my movie gets nominated for something,” Madonna told MTV on the red carpet. “I would be really grateful if it did, but if it doesn’t, I got the Super Bowl — keep on going,” she added.

Madonna brought along daughter Lourdes and beau Brahim Zaibat to the screening. At the beginning of the screening, Madonna thanked her mother, who has passed away, and got emotional.

Also pictured inside from the Cinema Society & Forevermark‘s premiere, where guest grabbed a Vita Coco water on the way inside: Ewan McGregor, Irina Shayk, and Julia Stiles with boyfriend David Harbour.

The two female leads for Tom Cruise‘s upcoming untitled science fiction flick have been announced!

W.E.‘s Andrea Riseborough and Quantum of Solace‘s Olga Kurylenko will star opposite Tom, Variety reports.

According to Variety, the film features a “soldier stationed on a future Earth, the surface of which was destroyed by aliens.” Tom‘s character begins to question everything when he discovers a woman who has crash landed on the planet.

Production is expected to begin sometime in early 2012.

Jessica Chastain was once attached to the project, but had to drop due to other commitments. Other actresses in contention were Olivia Wilde and Noomi Rapace.

Madonna and the star of her movie W.E., Andrea Riseborough, arrive at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 15) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 53-year-old entertainer wore a dark green embroidered gown by Reem Acra, while Andrea hit the red carpet in a Vivienne Westwood gold label lime green corseted lace dress.

The track “Masterpiece” from W.E. is nominated for Best Original Song for a Motion Picture.

Madonna co-wrote it with Julie Frost and Jimmy Harry.

FYI: Both Madonna and Andrea accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry. Andrea finished off her look with a Ferragamo bag and Gianvito Rossi shoes.
