Following the news that Andrea Riseborough‘s Oscar nomination is being investigated, many fans are wondering if her nomination will actually be taken away.

If you missed the news, The Academy announced that they would be looking into, and reviewing, “the campaign procedures around this year’s nominees, to ensure that no guidelines were violated.”

The question still remains that could Andrea‘s nomination be pulled? According to Variety, while it’s possible, it’s also “highly unlikely”.

The outlet reports that there is “no evidence that Riseborough violated any Oscar rules, the team may have utilized loopholes to garner the recognition they felt she deserved.”

But, her friends did the math, and figured out that to grab one of the nominations, they needed 218 of the 9,579 AMPAS members to write her name in.

Prior to this, an Oscar nomination has been rescinded in previous years nine (9) times, with the most recent happening in 2016.

Last month, Netflix dropped a clip from Matilda: The Musical that got an amazing fan response – and it was all because of Meesha Garbett, aka the Red Beret Girl.

The official clips have been viewed a total of 10 million times on TikTok alone, with each receiving at least two hundred thousand likes and thousands of comments, stitches, and duets.

Following the fan reaction to the clip, Meesha, 14, is opening up about the now viral clip and dishing on how she landed the role of Hortensia in the movie.

Andrea Riseborough debuted a new look at the premiere of her movie Matilda The Musical!

The 41-year-old actress showed off her newly shaved head while walking the carpet on Monday night (November 21) in London, England.

Andrea was joined at the event by co-stars Emma Thompson, Alisha Weir, and Sindhu Vee. At one point, she put the cast under her cape to keep them warm in the chilly weather. The last time we saw her, she had very long hair!

Emma decided to dress down for the event, walking the carpet in a jean jacket and sneakers.

The movie is a brand new take on the Tony and Olivier award-winning musical. Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical tells the story of an extraordinary girl, with a vivid imagination, who dares to take a stand to change her story with miraculous results. The adaptation stars Academy Award winner Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull, Alisha Weir as Matilda, Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey, Stephen Graham as Mr Wormwood, Andrea Riseborough as Mrs. Wormwood, and Sindhu Vee as Mrs. Phelps.

Margot Robbie had a stunning red carpet moment at the UK premiere of her new movie Amsterdam!

The 32-year-old two-time Oscar-nominated actress walked the carpet alongside her co-stars at the event on Wednesday night (September 21) at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, England.

Margot was joined by Christian Bale (with his wife Sibi), Rami Malek, and Andrea Riseborough.
