Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s divorce seems to be anything but amicable right now and they have entered into a new fight in court.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Angelina wanted the judge in their divorce case to be removed as he allegedly has a business relationship with one of Brad‘s attorneys. The same judge happens to be the judge who married the couple back in 2014 and was one of only 20 people at their wedding.

Angelina‘s filing claimed that Judge John W. Ouderkirk was “biased” due to the other divorce cases he was working on with Brad‘s lawyers. The judge has 10 days to respond to the filing, but Brad‘s legal team decided to respond first.

Brad‘s filing called Angelina‘s move a “Hail Mary,” according to documents obtained by People. His filing claims that Ouderkirk‘s other cases were “fully disclosed to Jolie” and that she “has never objected to [Ouderkirk's] continued involvement in this proceeding until now.”

The documents say, “Unfortunately, the individuals hurt most by Jolie‘s transparently tactical gambit are the parties’ own children, who continue to be deprived of a final resolution to these custody issues.”

Angelina Jolie has filed a motion with the Los Angeles Superior Court to request that the private judge who is overseeing her divorce from Brad Pitt be disqualified.

The reason for the removal is that the judge allegedly has a business relationship with one of Brad‘s attorneys and he failed to disclose this information in a timely manner, according to the Associated Press (via Page Six).

The motion says that Judge John W. Ouderkirk “failed to disclose the cases that demonstrated the current, ongoing, repeat-customer relationship between the judge and Respondent’s counsel.”

The motion from Angelina‘s team says that Brad‘s attorney “actively advocated for Judge Ouderkirk’s financial interests in moving — over the opposing party’s opposition — to have his appointment (and his ability to continue to receive fees) extended in a high profile case.”

Brad and Angelina are paying for a private judge in their divorce so that details will remain sealed. While they were declared divorced in April 2019 as part of a bifurcated judgment, details of their divorce like finances and child custody are still being worked out.

Despite what’s going on in court, these new photos seem to show that Brad and Angelina are on decent terms right now.

Angelina Jolie is opening up about her 15-year-old daughter Zahara!

The Oscar-winning actress participated in a Time100 Talk with Ugandan climate activist Vanessa Nakate, who Angelina credits as one of her heroes.

“My daughter is from Ethiopia, one of my children. And I have learned so much from her. She is my family, but she is an extraordinary African woman,” Angelina said while discussing the Black Lives matter movement.

“Her connection to her country, her continent, is very — it’s her own and it’s something I only stand back in awe of,” she added.

Angelina and her ex-husband Brad Pitt are the parents of six kids – Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

In a recent interview, Angelina opened up about her hopes to honor the “roots” of her adopted children.
