Angelina Jolie poses for a picture with her pal Ewan McGregor at a screening of his film The Impossible on Sunday (November 18) at the Soho Hotel in London, England.

The 37-year-old actress hosted the private screening, where she praised Ewan‘s work in the film.

“I have known you for years and you are one of my favorite actors and I’ve always loved to watch you, but I watched this and I didn’t recognize you,” Angelina said. “To say it is one of the best performances of the year, really doesn’t give it credit, because it doesn’t feel like a performance. It’s from such an honest place and so deeply emotional.”

“The true testament of any film is what you walk away with, and I think in this film you walk away with more empathy, with a greater sense of connection to your fellow man, and you want to run home and hug your kids, and tell the people you love that you love them,” Angie added.

FYI: Angelina wore an Atelier Versace black long sleeve silk-crepe cocktail dress with a criss-cross pleating effect on the front with a black belt.

Looks like the Jolie-Pitt family’s holiday season is off to an early start!

Angelina Jolie was spotted last week taking all six of her children – Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne – to mail their letters to Santa Claus at a post office in rural Kent, England.

“It was so cute. All the children sent messages to Father Christmas and were absolutely beautifully behaved,” a post office assistant told People. “Just like any other kids in a sweet shop they were excited, but Angelina controlled them perfectly.”

“It was lovely,” she adds. “They were all very polite. They were just a bunch of gorgeous, happy kids. “[Jolie] was so polite and a really nice person. I was quite shocked at first but Angelina was so lovely I soon relaxed.”

The 37-year-old actress held onto the hands of her twins Knox and Vivienne while Shiloh walked alongside her siblings.

As they left the store, Vivi was wearing a unicorn outfit and Knox held onto an alligator toy.

The day before, Angie was spotted sitting in her car making some phone calls while Knox and Vivienne had fun on a playground with their nannies.

Angelina Jolie is officially not returning for the sequel to her hit 2008 film Wanted.

“Angelina Jolie gets shot in the head and everyone’s like, ‘Oh, are you going to bring back Fox?’ I said, ‘Did you see the bullet go into her head?’ And they say, ‘Oh, she can take one of those milk baths!’ We never wanted to do that movie,” screenwriter Derek Haas told Hollywood.com.

“The only thing I can tell you is that Wesley (James McAvoy) is now, four years later, recruiting a young woman who is in his situation in the first movie. She’s got a sh**ty life. He’s sort of in the Fox role. This new girl is brought into the world,” he added.

Pax and Zahara Jolie-Pitt will reportedly play small roles alongside their mom Angelina Jolie in the upcoming Disney film Maleficent!

“Shiloh was supposed to be in it, too, but she was bored and not in the mood during the day her part was supposed to happen, so she ended up not being in the film,” a source told Us Weekly.

The live-action film explores the origins of one of the most iconic villains in Disney history, Maleficent, and her motives for cursing the princess.

Angelina‘s daughter Vivienne will be portraying the child version of Princess Aurora, the character being played by Elle Fanning.

Angelina Jolie has written an essay on how she discussed the tragic shooting of 14-year-old Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai with her children.

“I felt compelled to share Malala’s story with my children. It was difficult for them to comprehend a world where men would try to kill a child whose only “crime” was the desire that she and others like her be allowed to go to school,” Angelina wrote.

“Our 8-year-old [Pax] suggested that the world build a statue for Malala, and fittingly create a reading nook near it. Our 6-year-old [Shiloh] asked the practical question of whether Malala had any pets, and if so, who would take care of them? She also asked about Malala’s parents and if they were crying,” she continued.
