This was also India’s first-ever world premiere for a major Hollywood release!

Director and actor Andy Serkis also walked the red carpet, as well as castmates Rohan Chand and Louis Ashbourne Serkis.

Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who bring the characters to life in Hindi, also joined their international castmates at the premiere.

Screenings will also take place in London and Los Angeles before launching globally on Netflix on December 7.

Tom Cruise and Paula Patton share a smile at a press conference for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol on Wednesday (December 7) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The 49-year-old actor and Paula, 36, were joined by co-stars Simon Pegg and Anil Kapoor at the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world.

“The first moment on the Burj, when I saw the rope, I remember just thinking this is – this is – the moment of truth,” Tom expressed at the press conference. “There’s one thing seeing it and another thing trying to accomplish that. I remember that I didn’t quite make it the first time and came slamming into the building.”

Tom and Anil are expected to hit the red carpet screening for Ghost Protocol Sunday in Mumbai, just a few days after Tom and co-star Paula Patton premiered it in South Korea and Japan.
