Morgan Freeman and ER alum Anthony Edwards will take part in a one-time reading of 8, a new play by Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black!
According to the NYTimes, the September 19 reading will also feature 30 Rock‘s Cheyenne Jackson and Marisa Tomei – the story is adapted from reporting and trial transcripts from Perry vs. Schwarzenegger, when a judge struck down Prop 8 in 2010.
Joe Mantello, who was recently nominated for a Tony for his work in A Normal Heart, will direct.
