Idina Menzel, Audra McDonald, Janet McTeer, Allison Janney, and Judith Light are opening up to T Magazine for a new feature!

The five actresses are known not just for the stage, but also for the screen.

In a new video, the ladies opened up about their first stage shows and also their dream roles. Idina said that Rent was the first professional show she ever did and Audra has a dream of playing the title role in Sweeney Todd, even though it’s a male character. Allison hopes an original role will be written for her!

Patrick Wilson hit the stage at the 2018 Concert For America: Stand Up, Sing Out! held at The Great Hall at Cooper Union on Saturday (June 30) in New York City.

The 44-year-old actor was joined at the event by Tina Fey, Idina Menzel, Audra McDonald, Andrea Martin, Jeremy Jordan and a bunch of Broadway stars as they all performed at the latest edition of the Concert for America series.

Patrick, Tina and the performers who participated in the show helped benefit four non-profit organizations (Al Otro Lado, Texas Civil Rights Project, ACLU Foundation of Texas and Florence Project) working on the country’s southern border to protect the civil rights of families seeking entry to the U.S.

The Good Fight is coming back!

CBS released the trailer for the second season of the show on Tuesday (February 20).

Here’s a plot summary of the new season: the world is going insane, and the Chicago murder rate is on the rise. Amidst the insanity, Diane, Lucca, Maia and the rest of the law firm find themselves under psychological assault when a client at another firm kills his lawyer for overcharging. After a copycat murder, the firm begins to look at its own clients suspiciously.

The show co-stars Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Delroy Lindo, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele, Justin Bartha, Michael Boatman and Nyambi Nyambi.

Season two premieres on March 4 on CBS All Access.

Meanwhile, Diane battles with a new partner at the firm, Liz Reddick-Lawrence (McDonald); Maia becomes tougher after her parents’ scandal puts her on trial; and Lucca is brought back into Colin’s orbit.

Audra McDonald has joined the cast of CBS All Access’ series The Good Fight as a series regular for season two.

The six-time Tony-winning actress will reprise her role of Liz Lawrence, who she played on The Good Wife.

It will be revealed in The Good Fight that Liz, a tough United States attorney, is the ex-wife of Adrian Boseman (Delroy Lindo), and over the course of the season the two will have to deal with many of their unresolved issues.

“We’re thrilled that Audra McDonald will return to the fictional Chicago of The Good Fight,” executive producers Robert and Michelle King said in a statement. “After seeing her facility with both comedy and drama, we were dying for the chance to work with her again. Audra brings intelligence, strength, and wit to Liz Lawrence, the character she developed in the fourth season of The Good Wife.”

It was also just announced that Michael Boatman and Nyambi Nyambi have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming season.

The 47-year-old entertainer and Audra, 46, were joined at the event by Gavin Creel, James Monroe Iglehart, Ashley Brown, Lindsay Mendez and Norah O’Donnell.

The new honor, timed to a fundraising gala for the 11 arts organizations that make up Lincoln Center (including Lincoln Center Theater and the Metropolitan Opera).

Audra trained at Lincoln Center’s Juilliard School, and her 1994 debut at Lincoln Center Theater in “Carousel” yielded the actress her first Tony.
